Nice one Don, see you there.
Thanks for announcing this race so quickly, more warning the better, in light of busy lives!

If I can quote Jeff from the Zandvoort thread "Shame it was a small grid again tonight, but luckily the car/track combo made that allllll up ."
This seems to be a Wednesday thing, probably down to the announcement coming on the the Tue/Wed of the race itself. I know solutions are difficult for a number of reasons, but any ideas from anyone to improve this on a Wednesday? Not that it took that much away from the race, because it was great fun with the dedicated racers.

I'll be there. Early days yet for Race, but the FBMWs may be my favorite.

I'm still not sure I grok single seaters but I'll probably be there regardless with another wine-fuelled appearance.

I'm looking forward to this one, especially as I can probably get at least some practice in for it so I don't end up like I did in the Mini's the other night!

Good plan, it is nearly Christmas after all Smiley

Any ideas on what to aim for as a good lap time around here? I'm doing low 1:59's after quite a few laps practice but they're still pretty untidy.

These F-BMWs are miles better than the F3000s, so much more feel. I've done 1:59.5 which I'm sure is going to be quite slow.

Low 58's for now using SImon's setup, but that feels a bit too unresponsive for me, so I might drop below 1:58.

Only 2:01.0 for me, sounds like I need to find another second somewhere.

Damn this social period, once again i'm unable to participate but perhaps this is just as well if you see the times getting much better!

Felt like i was wringing the FBMW's neck last night to get a 1:58.7 . Simon i'm with you, they are great little cars, a joy to drive and probably my favourite of the game.

Didn't catch anybody on the practice server, in fact it was difficult to find any good racing over the weekends, just the usual wreckers.

What do the rest of you do, are you not playing at weekends or are you just playing other games (other than GTL/ Race '07)?  Huh

Other than the odd bit of practice here and there, in general, I don't race any other time than at the event. This weekend was sorting out some Christmas stuff and then Race of Champions at Wembley so no time left for computer games.
