Details now posted. Because there have been some minor potential problems reported with this track, we will go the whole hog and test pit stops, rain (I will fiddle the weather file a bit to ensure we have some rain and some dryness during the race) and a mixture of car types over a race of an hour. Please attend if you can because the better the turnout the more effective the test... and the more fun the race!

ps. Mugello won't be used in Season 7 unless there are major problems with either Interlagos or St Petersburg.

It's a much better track then either Interlagos or St. Petersburg. TT Each driver has a preference for certain types of track. I like street circuits and circuits with lots of corners. I've heard that some people actually like Monza!

I'm talking about which track is suitable for GT racing - I don't think narrow street races are... Personally I like Interlagos but I don't have enough laps in to like St. Petersburg just yet. TT

TT Now you see, I hate Interlagos. But you're right, it is good for GT racing. I thing St. Petersburg would be good for GT racing, well better than Monaco at least. Unfortunately I won't be able to race in the tests.

Oops, a mistake. I mixed up Interlagos and Jerez, silly me. Interlagos is of course a superb track, most suitable for GT racing. Good choice. TT

And then have a vote on it Jan ps.Such a thrill thundering down the last stretch and have that scary final lefthander spoton to get max.speed for the main straight St.Petersburg: 1.10.2 in RSR Interlagos : 1.34.1 in RSR

Well on a scale of 1-10, it's a 4000 points higher than Sugo.

Would everyone be agreeable to trying out the new blocking rule Blocking. Drivers altering their racing line based on the actions of pursuing competitors, or using an abnormal racing line to inhibit or prevent passing will be considered blocking. Blocking will result in a penalty. in this event? I've already stated in the Mugello/skins 2.7 thread that we will use it there, and it's my intention to extend this change to Season 7, as part of a major rewrite of the rules. If everyone is happy (despite the late noticed) I would like us to try it at Interlagos too. Please use this thread to discuss the blocking rule change.
