I'm with Mark on this one. I just don't feel the urge to play race. Everytime I have time on pc I always find myself playing gtr2.        Hopefully there will be a big field tonight and I can have some fun. I'm a bit worried with the handling  characteristics of the cars and this game it might not be the cleanist of races. Or I might just be judging my own driving shortfalls.

I must say I've not touched it a lot of late either.  With me taking the  RS in the sprints and the enduro getting that set up properly (or as close as I can) has been the priority.  Having not driven the Porkers much, it's almost like relearning the track with the different lines etc.

I'd ask everyone to use sense in tonights race in keeping it all as clean and tidy as possible. It's up to us to set a precedent of what will be expected of each driver during this series.
The events will be moderated as usual and I'm hoping for the same kind of standard we now see in GTR2.
The handling and characteristics may be different, but showing respect to your fellow racers shouldn't be issue. The races are 19 laps long so should give each driver the time and opportunity to make their moves safely.

I understand Don. I always drive as fair as possible and don't often get involved in incidents. Whereas I can drive in gtr2 in very close range to others drivers with no problems, I worry that the radicals with their razor sharp handling and their stop dead brakes it makes things a much harder. Everything seems to happen so suddenly. It will be fun to see how it goes.

I think you are right Brian and I think we all have to be patient. I'd be very surprised if, like every new sim, there weren't quite a few incidents tonight as we struggle to adapt. If we don't get it tonight, it'll not be long until we get some good stuff from Race.

So please don't ball at me if I punt anyone off tonight Wink

I'm struggling badly. I can't get to grips with is.

However I also had a bit of a problem. I was on practice server with Mr BA and when he left my escape button would no longer work.

I had done a few sequences of a few laps and escaped back to the pits. One he left the game I was stuck on the track and could still drive and all other functions seem to work, except escape
