Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1790s

Darren is followed by Aagramn approaching the last left hander. Darren takes this turn a bit slower than usual (his own words) and Aagramn which was close behind (not too close) didn't expect this and touched his rear. Darren then gets loose and looses more speed which in turn makes Aagramn touch his rear agin, sealing his destiny to go to the sand.

The car behind is responsible to avoid these situations even when the car in front slows more than usual. Darren did not brake hard either, so Aagramn should be able to avoid. I think Aagramn just didn't expect him to slow that much, but should've slowed down to avoid the second impact when he saw Darren lost control.

This was clearly avoidable, but since only one place was lost, or maybe two if he'd continued, and not much other damage I'll give a 1 place penalty for this incident.

  • Aagramnpenalty — Avoidable rear ending — 1 place lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

I'd suspect the really fast guys will be sub 2:00 in qualifying  Tongue

I've managed a 2:00.5 in the Vertigo.

Hi, being new to this I'm a bit unsure of how to enter (if I can) for the race on Tuesday.
Can I put my name down to race?
If so, how do I go about it?

Thanks

Right now all the full time places are taken, but if there are spaces you can join as a reserve - the password will be available from the panel at the top of this thread a few hours before the race.

Form the GTR2 lobby, once the server goes to Practice 2 reserves can try and join.

Thanks again.

One last question though..
Regarding the cars, all the full time drivers have their own skins. I presume i can use one of the game default cars.

You have to download the skinpack, but as a non-team based driver you can only pick default Smiley.

Stupid question coming....

What's faster, GTC or GT2? In fact if someone could list them in order that'd be ideal! Smiley

Also, are NGT and GTC the same thing?

Cheers!

GT2 should be faster than GTC but there's not a huge amount in it. I'd guess around a second or two at Brno.

GTC is the class that replaced NGT, so it's effectively the same thing for the purposes of this league.

I'll race this one if there is space on the server. How many slots is it set to these days?

I've managed a 2:00.5 in the Vertigo.

I'm down to a low 2:02 in the Mosler, think a high 2:01 is about the limit of my ability.

32 slots I think, get there early Aagramn Smiley

As far as I can see, thats a really nice time pops. A 59, and a lowish one at that, is definately possible in the RS but not by me and I'll be around Pops time. Should be fun Smiley
