Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 309s

PRibeiro jumps the start. The rules say:

"Each following driver should only disengage their limiter when the driver directly ahead does."

They do NOT say anything about overtaking before or after the start/finish line. The rules are designed to spread the field out going into turn 1 to avoid the concertina effect which otherwise tends to result in accidents during the start.

As a result of his jump start he gets past both Zacari (who went off during the formation lap) and Dave Gymer.

Because of the long delay in moderating this race I'm not going to issue penalty points, but I am going to deduct the two places gained as both cars passed were held up quite dramatically during the opening laps as a result.

Server replay time: 2579s

Shark is just leaving the pits as Zacari approaches T1. As they go into the corner, they jockey for position. Shark drifts out a little and Zacari tries to keep from running very wide, and Zacari's front right corner touches Shark's left rear, sending the former into the gravel.

Both drivers should have been more aware of the position of the other; Shark should've attempted to hold a tighter line and Zacari should've located Shark's car using 'glance right' and lifted to tuck in behind.

Don't forget to check your ballast - it's now remembered between events so if you use different amounts in different series (like I do) you need to check it at least a few hours before each event.

As long as he's careful where he prods that long snout, I think we can handle it. He's taking the big, soft, truck-engined one anyway. Must be so he can go slower round the corners when he gets tired   Wink  laugh

There's no registration for Endurance so no reserves, just whoever turns up.

So that's why they use it... Wink

I had actually been wondering about that, and the driver name. Any chance of changing or increasing the size of the font?

It's part of the driving test. If your vision is too poor to read, you are too blind to drive

Unfortunately, MSIE does an extremely bad job of rendering fixed-width fonts - you can help matters by changing the default of Courier New to the more modern (and larger) Lucida Console in Internet Options. Better yet get a proper browser. laugh
