Does anybody know who "onlinemike" is? Just trying to import the results...

Yeah - that's Oilseal's Steam-induced new profile.

Yeah - that's Oilseal's Steam-induced new profile.

Ah, I wondered if that was it, thanks Tom. Results now imported and on display.

I'm afraid these rads just dont do it for me. I thought the graphics were great and FFb felt good and can see that there would be some close action racing, but the cars feel a little too arcadey-chuck about-ey for me.
Not slating the game at all just a personal taste thing for this class of car, they dont float my boat in real life nor the virtual one.  Sad

It was my first time using them in anger and only my 2nd 'Race' race so was a little be-wildered with the menus etc. Just took the default setup and was getting creamed on the fast 5th gear corners with a ton of understeer. Got upto the giddy heights of 15th at one point, dropping back after a slow understeer off at the hairpin.
I then ran out of fuel on lap 13  Roll Eyes

Will try the caterhams at next round if able but the rad series is not for me.

I had alot of fun last night (in the races I mean Wink) but I must firstly apologise to whoever I shunted off on the last corner (picnic maybe?).

I qualified 8th which I was very happy with, but I was just getting too damn excited! I had a crap start as it was the first actual race in 'Race' and I didn't know what the situation with the lights was! I found people seemed to have different braking points and I had a couple of very slight rear enders near the start so I eased off a bit and a couple of folk got through as a result. I then spun, lost a load of places but caught up with those in front very quickly and decided just to go for it, unfortunately, either I broke too late (most likely) or whoever was in front broke too early and we ended up hitting side by side and he went off. I was ok, and stoped but it looked like whoever I hit was out of the game so I kept going.

I was later thinking about how pissed off I'd have been if someone did it to me and forgot what corner I was at and came off in the same place!! (karma!)

Had a lot of fun, but need to just calm down and not get too excited!

Good start to the Race league. Excellent turnout, and I thought driving standards were very good. Thanks for organising this Don.

Has anyone managed to view a replay yet? I can load the server replays but it always CTDs after anywhere between 1 and about 10 attempts to change which car I'm viewing from.

My in-game replays of both races work fine. Can view from any car, any view.

I get problems like that sometimes, I think it's if I FFW or RWD  the replay and change the car views.

On a side note, I posted a crappy little video on google video, the first couple of corners look quite good though with so many cars, and it's worth watching until I get over taken by the orange car (there's a replay from a different angle which shows how close it was!)

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=4375496539777519221&q=simracing.org.uk&total=16&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=3

Nice little vid - must admit I've not had a look at the replay.

I was in an orange Radical - dunno if it was me that cut across your bow or not?  Pops was in one aswell so he might have been the car infront?

I 'THINK' it was me actually in the orange one, cutting infront of B.A.!!
I do seem to remember that moment. A bit TOO close for comfort Cheesy
- didn't feel that close from the cockpit tho in my defence Cheesy

Yeah, I thought I was further back than that .... and I was!  Didn't see many orange cars though (I didn't get to see the front of the grid Undecided) - hence my post.
