Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 2445s

[R24-7] Roadrunner is in 3rd just behind Zacari. [R24-7] goes to the outside in 'Bico de Pato'; as Zacari blocks him off from the inside line; and is almost levelled with Zacari entering the turn. Zacari then drives a bit away through the turn. [R24-7] keeps his line and is able to get almost half a car lenght up on Zacari's side as Zacari turns in for 'Mergulho'. Zacari then turns to much in and hits [R24-7].

Not any damage is done and both cars continue racing.

APPEALED - under investigation

APPEAL REJECTED

  • Zacariwarning — Side by Side Contact

Server replay time: 2534s

Again [R24-7] is trying to pass Zacari, this time one corner earlier. [R24-7] takes the outside line through 'Pinheirinho' and gets more speed out of the corner. As Zacari leaves room on his right so [R24-7] tries to pass here. Zacari then moves to his right forcing [R24-7] on to the curbe and grass. [R24-7] then backs off.

In this case I really this the passing attempt was a bit over-ambitious as they were very close to the next corner before [R24-7] even had his front past Zacari's rear bumper.

I also think Zacari blocks very badly, as he's very late to change line to the right, and he's not even holding this line for the entry into 'Bico de Pato'.

APPEALED - Under investigation

APPEAL PARTLY REJECTED - ROADRUNNER'S PENALTY IS REMOVED

Zacari exits the corner leaving enough room for Roadrunner to his right. Zacari is then committed to hold this line and give room for Zacari.

yeah, but will it allow to carryon into the qualy if you stayed?

It should do. I've joined one of the sprints before as a reserve and it worked fine. Undecided

Second time in a row my system freezes. Only hard reboot starts it up again. Anybody having the same problems by any chance?

Danger to everyone around me in race so got out before I did something I would have regretted. Wet races trouble me Smiley Never do enough of them to be confident of setup and last minute decision to got with hard wets at front proved fatal. Practice makes perfect.

Pointless exercise for me tonight.....unfortunately, although the wet races are a pleasant change and great variety, it's only really the folk that have enough time to practice that stand any chance of a decent race IMO. about 10 laps praccy in wet for me...hardly enough time to see the tyre temps let alone do a usable setup. Shame coz I enjoy it in the wet...makes a nice change.

Ahh well....hopefully have more time for the next one.

Awesome race...tyres lasted suprisingly well considering i didnt appear to have more than 1 deg temp spread on any of em at the end...

Messed me last qualy run up i think, so could have been higher.....made me way past a few peeps up into 3rd, thought 2nd was a bit to much to ask so i took it steady a few laps...but noticed i was closing slightly..so went for it...Should have had it twice in last 2 laps but the guy ran me off the road...which was pointless...as i probably would never have held on to the line...but anyways...his choice...still...gr to all Cheesy

Well, I loved that one Grin I think 6th is just about my best ever Sprint result laugh

Managed a PB by 0.5s in qually to start 12th and my plan was to drive within myself and hope for the best.

I got past Pribiero near the start and settled down to chase Steve Holmes who was driving a blinder and making his more experienced team-mates look bad Wink Steve dropped back at about half way and we lost another couple so I found myself in 7th with Dan and Paul quite away ahead but then they got into a bit of a tangle after T1 and I found myself in the middle of them. Luckily I think tyres were an issue as Dan went off as Paul overhauled me on the straight (cheating Porsche drivers Wink). I couldn't quite put any pressure on Paul over the last few laps but I'm well happy with that result  clap

That was tough.

I put a little practice in last night and again today and just could not get to grips with it all. I was having the occasional fast lap with countless mistakes then on after.

Then tonight I made a couple of tweaks to my car for qualifying and it felt so much better. Was surprised to take pole with the gap I did as until then there was very little between all the top drivers.

The race went really well, better than I thought. Apart from a couple of slight wobbles, no issues at all.

I managed to ease away from Zacari and opened up a 6-7 second lead. I always felt ok but knew fine well in these conditions a spin can happen at any time.

I managed to hold the lead at 6-7 seconds until my tyres were really going off. Zacari brought the lead down a bit, but roadrunner in the little Vertigo would have still been on good tyres and he caught up Zacari and was gaining on me too.

I'm very happy to win even more so in the tricky conditions.

I thought this race might cause problems with the conditions but I never saw anything wrong.

The only car I came across was Spanners and it was frozen on the track.

Looks like another success for team shark junior again!!

Hooray!  Another TSJ 1-2 Smiley

I'd only managed half a dozen practice laps so I wasn't expecting much, quali in 2nd was a real bonus.

The race was fine to start with, then after 5-6 laps I was getting progressively more and more understeer into the corners which was killing my speed.  By the last couple of laps Rr caught me in the Vertigo and we had a small battle.  I've checked the replay, on both occasions I don't think I did anything other than take a defensive line.  Feel free to report it if you think I was to blame, I apologise for the contact but that corner is not really an overtaking spot especially in the wet.

Grats to everyone who finished Cool It's a shame SBG and BACKO had difficult races as it was looking like possibly a good battle there Sad especially when BACKO was taking chunks off my 2nd place early-on.

Good thing I hate rain.

Hi evert, i had a similar issue last year.
Some dust cleaning and termic paste change sorted the problem, in my case.
By the way, remove all the cards and memory and assemble again (after a good cleaning in the slots).
Worked for me, good luck Wink
Cheers

Pleased with 4th, made a bad chioce of going for hard wets on the front and hard wets on the rears, at T2 the long left hander i had to lift off alot until the front got up to temp.  But as they came up to temp the rears where going off but its a good job i had a gap to the car behind, so definitley shoulda went for soft wets on the front.

Had a nice battle with Dan M for alot of the race, stuck to his bumper alot through the twisty stuff but he always made a second or two on me at T2 when i had to lift off while he looked to be taking it flat out.

Then Backo must of had a spin as he rejoined right in the middle of us.  But lucky for me he had another spin and so i was handed his spot.

Got a nice run on Dan coming up the hill, and fairplay he left room on the inside and we blasted up the main straight side by side Cool with me on the inside having the line for T1 but the next bend was T2 which i struggling with and Dan got right on my bumper and it looked like he was going to have a go at the next turn, but he held back probably cos of the wet and i kept the place.

Picked up another spot when Paul R, i think, had a spin at T1.  But after that it was quiet till the end.

How quick where the Vertigos and Morgans  Shocked

Congrats Brian and good race Roadrunner in the Vertigo
