Since the first race is on Tuesday do we know yet what the car allocation is?

As I'm going to miss the opening round I've been plugging round Reims and Spa in the little Lotus 33 BRM. Having wrung the thing as best I can, certainly round Spa, the best I can do is something 6 secs a lap slower than my best in a full 3 litre car.

Surely this is too big a gap for it to give those of us in the small engined cars any hope?

I put the suggestion forward before and I'll do it again, would it not be better to let each driver have a choice of 2 chassis for the season, a full 3 litre and one of the sub 3 litres?

Hi Mike,

I think that it has to balance out over the season rather than at every circuit.

Also, we tried Sarthe a couple of weeks back, in BREASTS League, and found that the little beasts can get towed along quite nicely.

I have been allocated the Lotus 43 and can't get it below 1:30 at Monaco............
but I can't wait for Monza. Grin
