Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 880s

Colin P (GT) is following PaulW (NGT) into the first chicane. He pulls out, locks a wheel under braking, slides up alongside Paul as they reach the chicane itself, and they collide.

This was a pass for position and instead of using his horsepower advantage to overtake Paul safely on the following straight he tried to pass (probably not entirely on purpose) in a braking zone into a chicane which is a very dangerous passing place. This is the kind of impatient driving we're really trying to stamp out.

  • CP (Colin P)penalty — over-ambitious overtake — 2 places lost

Server replay time: 890s

Muorali is tucked up behind Shark on the run down to the first tyre chicane. He pulls out but is barely even level (and apparently travelling too fast to make the corner) when they reach the turn in point, and Shark, who has no choice but to turn in, cannot avoid side contact.

Luckily for Shark he is bounced across the kitty litter without hitting the main bank of tyres at speed and rejoins.

The first tyre chicane is a totally unsuitable place for a strongly contested passing attempt because there is no way for two cars to go through side by side at racing speed. A pass like this has to be done and dusted well before the turn in point and this wasn't even close.

  • Muoralipenalty — over-ambitious overtake — 2 places lost

Server replay time: 925s

On the approach to the final corner complex, and PaulW, having moved off line to let JonM lap him, moves back onto the line to take the corner. Mark Harrison executes a somewhat ill-advised pass under braking, from which there is some very slight contact, before Muorali, who had an excellent view of this, comes steaming in and drives into the left rear corner of Paul's car, spinning him out.

This was pure impatience, and watching the rest of Muorali's race there were more examples of similar behaviour which went unreported. This kind of driving is unacceptable when it becomes habitual.

  • Muoralipenalty — rear ending PaulW — 2 places lost

Looking forward to this one.

I should have done seriously well (for me) in the NGT sprint if not for a few accidents mostly caused by other people, so I think I'm well placed on this one.

If no-one else had competed and I'd driven better than I'm capable of- I should have won the Enna sprint Wink

Away at the beach this weekend hopefully but if I'm back in time I'll definitely pop-in because my Porsche and I have unfinished business with the crash barriers at Enna!

I did get the dice from a dodgy Essex Casino so they may produce statistical anomolies.

Yes DRY is correct. Enna is dangerous enough without adding the rain factor in. Executive decision that Enna will never be run in the rain.

LOL. That could be said about most people's races.
It's a shame when doing well at Enna involves a big chunk of being lucky not to get caught in tyre wall incidents.

Just drive the Bi-T. Everyone will get out of the way, because of it's grunt, it's uglyness, it's sheer size, it's sheer weight, the boat horn under the bonnet Wink, the dogs dinner it leaves when you spin Wink and of course if they do stay in the way... It's brutal non-sophisticated awesome power out of the corners! I DEMAND a wet race at Enna! Grin Lol!

Sorry Dave, I was going to post that in the D2 bit, when I realised it was D2, so I hunted for D1 and posted without reading nofin... Doh!
