Oh yes, this is the real Silverstone.  Grin  Just had a quick run in a 65 Corvette, and boy that was just so much fun.  No fiddly bits, just huge long corners where you can hold massive opposite-lock powerslides.  Maybe not the quickest way round, but if I needed reminding, this is why I love GTL.

Did high 1:43s.  Anyone else up for some GTC65 goodness?

I was also gonna take a Vette, either the '69 or the '65 Grin

Dunno what to take, this track should be good for speed - the Pant-Tearer, Vette, Cobra, and maybe the GT350...or might just take the 911 laugh
Anyone done any good laps here yet?
What times are you getting and in which automobile?

I missed my braking point for t1 and crashed out on lap14  Undecided.
Now, there's a problem with my Corvettes, probably because they have the same number. First I tried a few practice laps offline just before the race in 69 vette. Then I went to watch the replay, and I saw the 64 vette in there. Then when I joined the server, on the outside I had the 69 vette, but under the hood was the 64 vette (revving out at 6500 rpms). So I'll have to make a new 69 vette with a different number. Can it be submitted at this point?

I'm sorry I quit folkses, I don't like quitting races but the gap to the car infront was increasing by 5 seconds a lap, and I was pulling out about the same on the car behind and I got bored and starting just spinning where I was being too lazy to hold the slides.

Might have been interesting near the end if I didn't have to stop but the 76ers did, but I couldnt face waiting 40 mins to find out if I would have jumped a place or not Smiley

I watched some of the action between Jeff and Pablo - that looked fun!
