There's no complaint that the race might run too long - but it would be nice to know in advance how long it is going to run. Some of us like to plan a race and work out the best time to pit - that's difficult to do if you don't know whether the race is 42 laps, 30 laps, 80 laps or 80 minutes.

Nobody is complaining Psuedo, please direct me to a post which complains . There are only posts which direct to mistakes in the opening post. That's called helping, which I'm sure the dictionary also has a description of

I believe its sorted now. I'll be doing 30 laps at 2.35 pace You chaps will be doing 80 mins which is going to be the length of all enduro events. We've based number of laps on either GTL rank info or our own times so please let us know if its wrong, or my maths suck. Prolly GT40 for me. Hope we get a varied grid with everyone taking part with their fave

What daylight setting will the server be set to? Just so my offline practising can be as accurate as possible?
No, I mean in the realism settings, Is it going to be realtime, 2x, 10x ? anyone?

Realtime for this one Tony. If future events are different, a possibility, it will be in announcement

GT40 or 911 for me too. The GT40 is sooo sexy around spa but alas i just dont think its competitive enough to compete with the 76 cars. :'( They are way better under braking and more nimble through the twistier sector 2/3. Times so far for me are 2:50's for the GT40 2:42 for the 911....bit of a difference ! though i am still getting used to the GT, only having used it twice before in anger. lets hope my frigging internets up and running by thursday
