Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 136s

Woltshire Tony is trying to pass Psuedo on the downhill straight before the track flattens out, and is levelled with Psuedo just before braking for the right hander. Psuedo then gets just in front of Wiltshire as they enter the turn. Psuedo then cuts in in front of Wiltshire. Wiltshire then starts accelerating again and hits Psuedo's rear, forcing him into a 360 spin. Both drivers continue without damage, but this should be avoided as many drivers are barely able to miss contact as they approach this accident.

Wiltshire could easily have lifted to give room to Psuedo who was in front as they started turn-in for this corner.

I've done 10 laps in GT40 and I'm hooked  Grin. Nailed rouge once and it was bliss. Hope a few take it as its gonna be left behind by most of the 76 chaps, best of late 47 so far with it.

Post it if you have time and I'll still give it a whirl Smiley Found the Vette a little less exciting than the GT, especially under braking, but I suspect thats partly my setup and lack of skills.

You should still get some good racing with 47s/48s!  I tried the big block Vette last night and couldn't do better than 45s - factor in silly tyre wear and much longer pitstops for a supertanker full of fuel and the GT40 may be close.  I really don't know how to setup the Vette.   Huh  How Jeff drives those things consistently I'll never know.  But for fun I may take one or other Vette.  Be interested to see your setup Jeff.

Also tried the Alpina CSL and only got 48s with that.  But at least I didn't lose it under braking like I did the Vette.   Tongue

i wouldnt mind trying your GT40 setup ginsters if your doing 2:47's in it ! Best i could manage was a 2:51 so far and 2 out of 5 drives through eau rouge ended with a sloppy fish tail into the armco  Sad

At the moment its still the sexy 911 for me  Cool

...and that people last the distance.

Remember folks, it's worth repairing accident damage and carrying on in an enduro.   Wink

Lets hope we see the 25 or so who voted for it Wink

Yep no worries Mark, will upload it in to online GTL Spa file as SBG GT40 when I get home (done now). I may be telling you how to suck eggs, but I've found the best way to get it to turn in is to ride the brakes deep into corner and get on power asap. Its an understeery mess when your not braking or accelerating hard. Hairy, but big fun and 2 outta 5 isn't bad  Smiley

I think Ade is taking the 914 as well so you'll not be lonely mooij. I'll be excited if we see a wide range of cars on the grid and hope everyone takes their fave, fast or not   Smiley

But Tibs, It's faster than the BMW and the Escort and also corners pretty well. May be a smart move..............
