I'm pleased to announce the full details of the first Super Endurance series running here at SRou.
The first season will run along-side Season 7 of the main UKGTR series and will comprise of 6 races run on early evenings (UK Time), on Saturdays, every two weeks. There will be 3 standard tracks and 3 add-on tracks used (subject to further testing). Rules used will be the same as UKGTR Endurance series, except that the races will be longer and drivers will be required to make 2 or more stops during the race. The series will be using only one class of cars per race, GT1. All races will be moderated, as per SRou regulations. It's each driver's responsibility to report incidents for moderators to review.
Full details:Registration: Not necessary, only forum membership will be required. Disclaimer: If the series proves very popular then registration will be added.
Game: GTR2
Car/Skin Pack: Will be run using the latest SRou skin/ballast pack (currently
v2.7.0.0).
Voluntary Ballast: If the faster guys wish to help their chances of a better race with more people, each driver can add voluntary ballast before every race in the Driver Details.
Time: Saturdays, practice 1 starting at 3:45pm. Race should finish around 6:30pm.
Sessions: Practice 1 (10 mins), Qual 2 (25 mins), Race (130 mins).
Weather: Changeable (based on SRou, real world weather generator).

Please read each race post carefully for information about the race, including download locations for skin packs and track downloads.
I would like to state the obvious that this is a 2 hours and 10 minute race. This means that only the people willing to race for that length of time should join. It also means that we expect an exceptionally high standard of gentlemanly driving. I would not advise newcomers to sim-racing or new comers to GTR2 to join this series until they are sufficiently experienced to take part.
