I hope to finally make my first Radical championship race this time, fingers crossed, touch wood and any other superstitions you can think of.
Maybe some more advertising on RSC, Nogrip and R2P will help numbers?

They are struggling with numbers over at r2p too, Simon. The radical races only just manage double figures. The touring cars are more popular though.

I had a go in a public server after our last race yesterday, but in the WTCC's. Had a few great races with some clean racers The WTCC's are fantastic, and I love the Beemer Hope we can use them in the future. Brands should be good though. Thanks for organising Don

That does surprise me. When I tried the old touring cars they sucked beyond my wildest nightmares. Awful physics and no fun.

The older Alfa/Bimmer are a godsend to those, like me, not keen on the newer models. I've done a few WTCC races elsewhere that included these older models and it really added something. Be aware that they are a good deal faster than newer models on most tracks though.

On saying that I think most of the cars in race have poor physics. It must be personal taste as I was baffled why caterhams and radicals won the vote before the season started. I personally find the radicals feel like a very poor arcade game. Not sure if the vote would be the same again as a number of the voters for these cars don't seem to join in the races.

I agree the physics in RACE are pretty dodgy. Caterhams are a lot of fun though as they seem to get the best out of the dodgy physics. Radicals I agree simply feel wierd, but it's nice to drive something different. The old touring cars are not a patch on GTL so can't see the point in those anyway even if I did like them. Any overlap of cars, RACE is going to lose out cause it ain't as good as GTR2 or GTL. I really hope GTR 3 (or RACE expansion pack (whatever they're calling it)) doesn't use the RACE engine cause it won't make me leave GTR2 for GT racing just for newer car models.

Back to the subject, just done a few laps and got down to a 1:28.3, so pole will probably 1:25 or better.

1.29's for me atm. Good news is they are fairly easy to get round when compared to the Caterhams.
In hindsight I would of preferred to run a season in the single seater's for Race. But then again thats a personal preference.
