Gordini was the first add-on car ever modded for GTL ! Well the 1.2 version is new at least.

The problem with the Gordini is it barley has enough HP to keep up with the Arb or Mini :/

The answer to all your prayers! ..the Gordini TS !! http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=8337apparently a perfect sparring partner for the minis and the Abarths should we ever fancy some 'ickle car racing So many nifty car models being made for GTL by some talented folks. There is also a 'mini-sprint' mod and the 1310cc Minis too.

Which tracks would be best to test these cars on? I'm thinking Monza, Monaco and Nurburg Short (or whatever it's called ). We'd need to know where it fits in with the other cars...

hmm, thats a bit of an open ended question really...i would suggest testing it on tracks of a different nature, like Monza or Goodwood for flat out, Cadwell park or Donington say, for twisty and hilly nature etc. All cars will have strengths and weaknesses at different circuits though Its how they compare on laptimes with similar classes at those circuits. Guess you could just pick the similar car classes and run some offline sessions to see what laptimes the AI and yourself generates and make a note of the times.

GTL Rank can provide a rough guide but its no substitute for testing yourself. Its time consuming stuff but will be appreciated Something to bear in mind with add on cars is whether they add anything new to existing choices. For example, although I've not tried it I doubt whether a faster Mini is really going to add that much and, cause there is always a risk with add on cars, its an unlikely candidate for use here. Whereas the Gordini could add something new and much more likely to be considered. If add ons offers new handling characterstics, new sounds, has some ready made competition and looks pretty then its far more likely to be included.

Ok, I'd prefer to stick to the standard tracks that come with the game. I'll have a look at what they are and do some testing tomorrow. It'll be based on the AI and how similar my lap times are with similar cars, not much point comparing them to Ruskus's is there?

I've literally just found out that you need the regular Gordini to be able to use the TS download. Testing will now be friday and the weekend.

Just done a couple of quick test races at cadwell.
The TS Gordini is a decent amount faster than the regular, around the same speed as the Alfa, maybe faster. The cockpit is horrible and the sounds are terrible, the handling seems alright but I can barely drive it.
The Corolla has a decent cockpit, though there are some gaps in it. It sounds alright and is fairly easy to drive, has around the same speed as the Mini.
No problems so far with either of them, except you have to choose the TC-65 class to be able to drive them.

The r8 ts is a very slow car, the alfa is alot more faster. Check out my post about the new cars for GTL http://srp.ptgamers.com/index.php?showtopic=7179&pid=125542&st=0&#entry125542theres the Bmw m1, lancia monte carlo, vwbeetle, the minisprint. the green mini sprint is a very fast car, can be faster than a bmw e21. I tested them all in Oporto circuit.
