Those E21 BMW's are awesome in game, sounds and looks are just fantastic. Unfortunately they seem to be in a league of their own against any other GT76 car but would make an excellent one make race or series.
Not tried the Lancia or M1 in GTL yet, do they fare well against the E21?

Oh Mighthy ModGods , Is there any change of letting a VW Beetle into the ranks of the GTL? If so, I will test this car.... (with documented results).....

It's probably best if I test a car I can actually drive...The Toyota Corolla I think. There's also the Healey 100S mod if anyone can control it.

Great looking car! Is it an "old" beetle, or is it a modern race version? In other words, does it fit anywhere?

It's the old beetle which is tuned with different tires, whaletail and a rev meter (?) which the original beetles do not have. Nice feature of this car is the sound.. original flat four Beetle sound But have to do some more testing and hope that the designer will give us prermission to use it The car is in the TC-65 class and should be a match for the Mini/Cortina/Abarth. Don't know why it is listed in the the -76 class on the picture tho

It looks great. Could be just the job for a 25 minute Fun Cup race at Spa.

i was amazed to see an old Beetle racing around Cadwell park in some footage of the Great Jim Clark in action. I hadnt ever seen one racing before that !....apart from in Herbie movies Are you saying that your beetle is a 'fantasy' version then Alex? If so, not to keen on the idea of introducing those into our GTL events but more than happy to see historically correct models in the mix. Any reason why we havent gone for the TR4 mod yet? They look and sound great in-game and have been around for quite a while so assume are quite well tested and tried in battle by now.

The beetle is a tuned 60-ies version (flat headlights) but due to the simplicity of the design of the car it is easy to interchange parts with for example Porsche parts... which many people do with their regular car. The parts which are bolted on this version are pretty standard tuning option: rims, extra dials and a back wing. but you are right about authenticity; if it doesn't 'feel' right we shouldn't use it in our races... but I have to wait with this until I've got permission to use it... Any reason why we haven't gone for the TR4 mod yet? They look and sound great in-game and have been around for quite a while so assume are quite well tested and tried in battle by now. So many great cars, so few time

Even if we decide not to use it for the UKGTL championships we could always use it for some fun races. Anyway, how do you know that they didn't race one of them?
