Hmm, is it considered shameful to take what I gather is often called the noob-mobile, i.e. the F550? I think I want to do it still.

Drive what you want to drive. As Jeff says it's been handicapped to make it less incredible, and more practical to race against the other cars. I'm still trying to get Zacari back into it seeing as it's his fav car Grin

Probably the reason why FreQ is using the Saleen now...n00b  lol

So my using the Lambo all these years now means nothing eh?! death And I switched after being pushed by a certain Dutch character that I'm sure frequents this forum....can't remember who... smartass

But it is a bitch over kerbs  laugh

I didn't pick it for its "n00b" handling  laugh i picked it because it has the clearest view out of the window   Grin

Haha, practicality first - what a weird way to chose a car laugh
I chose the Lambo before I even received GTR1....it just looked sooooo sexy Wink

I've added a poll to guage the number of people likely to take part. If there looks like a low turn out I will have a quick advert blast session in other places to get more people, but I want UKGTR people to have first knowledge of this series.

Normally this would be a no-no for me as well,  especially as the Upper Enduro will be the night after with this seasons arrangements. But as circumstances are this weekend I will definately be joining this one.  Smiley  Looking forward to the extended length and the more than likely dodgy conditions should make for an interesting race.

I think a longer race series is a great idea, nice one Simon. It probably suits my slow but steady driving style too and with the longer length then a bit more strategy may come into it as well. Hopefully I will be able to join some of the other races planned as well but in general the time I spend racing at the moment is about as much as I can commit.

Got a Saleen setup from last season but if I have chance to get a setup ready for the 575GTC then I will use that as its my GT1 choice this season. Never really done that well at Spa although the track of course is one of the best.

Can't make it, as it's held when I'm doing my weekly shopping and preparing/eating dinner.

I will be coming, got some work to do, but I can fit this in before and after.

Tried a few cars so far, not sure which to go with yet, best time is 2:17, so iam not fast.

Found out my pedals where set to single axis, been struggling with my braking for a while, now I know why.  Wink

I can do it at the moment before the motorsport season kicks off proper. The Saleen would be my first choice as i've driven more miles in it as i find easier to drive but might choose the lambo to be different. Though its a shame it doesnt have a decent skin, why didnt they paint the thing!

I'm around 2.17's aswell but I'm practising the pits stops so i dont end up in a blind panic!

I like the format and would like to take part but can't.     The only problem is my daughter comes through every second weekend to stay, so it's her time I'm afraid.    Hopefully other races fall on my free weekends

Take the Saleen then  thumbup1

Take the Lambo coss it brakes amazingly and has lovely handling, not because you want to be different - it's one of the most popular cars Grin

Oh herring, I forgot we'd done an improved 2003 version too. I was assuming we'd only done the later track.

Generally people seem to prefer the 2003 version so what's the consensus on changing this to the 2003 configuration?

Doo ittt! Grin

My opinion doesn't really count as I won't be entering this series (way too much work), but almost eveyone prefers the '03 version. Change it quick if you do though so peeps have a chance to praccy.
