...TT was right on my tail. We had what seemed like half a lap side by side before he ended up on the inside under braking at the end of the back straight and was past - good racing as always. thumbup1 Unfortunately for him he then slid off on one of the banked corners.

That was one of the highest points in the race - the overtaking bit, mind you.  Cheesy  I made several errors later which dropped me from 2nd to 5th place, right before Picnic. I had good enough pace, but not the concentration, so I guess I got what I deserved.  Tongue
Intense racing in the begining, but boring for the last hour.  Sad  The car was acting worse than in Sprint, wtf  Huh
Grats to all podiums, more so to Rusky in Vertigo, good speed down that monstrous straight.  Shocked  Every other Vertigo got eaten there, you must have had some spicy mexican food before the race.  Grin
GTs were great.  Smiley

Had to bail last night - was getting massive stutters just as the leading GT1's came round to lap me - obviously something updating on the computer Sad.

I didn't want to cause an incident, and I'd also been called in as reinforcements to try and settle our boy last night aswell ... the missus wasn't happy with the 10 min delay (oops).  Bit gutted really, as I'm not racing much at all at the mo - last night was a bit of a one-off.

Still, the pedals I got of Jonzo worked a treat (mine died 2 weeks ago) - so I can race if I have time now.

I also lost around 0.3 or 0.4 a lap there Grin. I just minimized damage by running 1-1 wing Grin.

Shame my weight didn't get added. About 10 minutes before race I added 10kg, but that didn't stick somehow. Weight hits the Vertigo harder than other cars, so smacking on 40kg is signing a deathwarrant Grin.

I finished with 15L too much fuel, which is also around 10kg Tongue.

When you say "bouncing" do you mean resetting/restarting the router or is there a more technical method behind that?

Restarting or power cycling - mine doesn't have a switch so I tend to just whip the power cord out for a few seconds. You could probably reboot it via its web interface but in my case it's quicker to run upstairs and do it the hard(ware) way. Wink

I don't know why everyone thinks the Vertigo should be rubbish at Anderstorp. All those long constant radius corners are just up its street, even if it loses on the main straight. I'm pretty much the same pace in a Vertigo as the RS, and the RS needs a longer stop and uses its tyres more. As for 40kg being a death warrant, 50 ltrs of fuel(which weights around 40 kg) costs me half a second a lap at most in the Vertigo - about how much I was off the pace last night  Tongue

Firstly I'd like to say sorry to all those that were behind me on the pre-start lap, my brake pedal jammed down a couple of times and by the time I had it free'd off, the front guys were already nearing the start. I really hope I didn't spoil anyones race.

As to Prof, its racing thats all, you saw the door wide open and went for it (as I would have), its just unfortunate that the GT1 boys came upon at that exact moment. As to ending my race, it was over long before that. I was thinking of ending it anyway, as I think I was more of a risk to the front runners. (was very tired)

Was my car getting closer to the finish, or was continental drift moving it further away?

Not keen on that track, had a bit of a nightmare of a race. Kept going off into the gravel, the car felt awful.

The only high point was that I had a good pit stop. Plus no connection issues for me this week.
