yeah still racing those group C monsters, if GTL had sneaked into the 80s i might be on it all the time!

I used to play GTL A LOT! more than GTR and enjoyed the single player. Unfortunately GTR2 killed it off! Don't know what public servers are like now, maybe all the hardcore enthusiasts are left and those wreckers in the panteras long gone  Huh 911 RSR FTW !  Grin

Cheers TC, you placed the car really well. Waiting was only fair...it was a poor move but I was committed, had nothing left to do but feel guilty as you disappeared off towards the moon lol.

please spread them out a little

Here here! You do a fantastic job chaps but that would be one change i'd definitely like to see... yes

So make them longer but less frequent seems to be a common sentiment (well mine anyway Grin)

Just wanted to say that was great fun last night but bloody knackering! I thought this track wouldnt be any good but it surprised me. I thought the little alpine would be at a bit of a disadvantage and watching the gaggle of elans come straight past on the straight wasnt fun in the first few laps. Managed to be the second alpine, 0.7s behind psuedo which was good and that laps wasnt a brilliant one so knew I could run reasonably well. My start wasn't good, too much wheelspin then changed into second too early but managed to run with psuedo early on. Looking at the lapcharts i was running closly with someone for most of the first stint but the track is just a bit too tight at times which made it too risky at times  especially as i didnt really have an advantage over the whole lap.

I managed to monitor the fuel so that when i stoped there was only 13 laps left, but was thrown a bit when i pitted as to what the fuel setting was, either fuel added to current level which was only a few litres only or whether it was what you wanted to leave the pits with including what you stopped with. With fuel and tyres changed it ended up being a long stop especially as it didnt seem to fire back up for a long time. Finally mananged to come out in front of Dave (Blimey, did you actually pit?) which turned into quite a battle with Dave pretending he was in a drifting comp. round most corners swinging that big'ol ass around Wink where i could kinda get my nose down the inside on some corners but had
to get out of it carrying more corner speed and with the lack of rear-corner vision didnt want to get too agressive only to get swiped.

With my lap counter saying another lap to go and trying to get a bit of drafting off Dave down the straight i suddenly find cars littered down the main straight then find out the race is over. Bit of a shock, had people stopped after the line?

Just a shame the next enduro is so long away, seemed to just click with GTL.

The fuel setting when you enter the pits is the amount of fuel you currently have onboard NOT the amount to be added. If you have your AI control switch off (you should have) you will get a message at the top of the screen telling you that your race is finished. If you finished before the set no off laps then you were lapped in the race.

just find it a little disheartening when loads of people jump in one for a cheaper shot at points,

What are these "points" of which you speak? Huh Wink

Apologies to Mr_Oily (? - an Elan) for collecting you in my spin at the chicane on my lap 29.  I wasn't comfortable driving on this track and at that stage was driving to finish and trying to keep out of everbodies way.  Instead I did the very thing I was trying to avoid losing control at the chicane.

Sorry, I guess looking at the results you missed out on sixth place as a result.

Well, that was hard work all race with Will and Jebstone, enjoyed every minute.
Although GS team having an Elan skin, i choosed a not very popular (was only me)
E-Type, last 10 laps, i was sparing fuel, as i began the race with full fuel on, allowing
me to only change all tires during pit stop, but, at half distance race my fuel niddle,
was slighty to the left of the middle, i took the change to go like that till the end,
but had to spare  Tongue

Congrats all for the driving.
