Hands up those with not enough fuel I was fully expecting another lap. I crossed the line with 7.6L and was using 7.8l per lap. I could have rolled it.

Everything looked fine in game for me, a BIG sorry to TrueTom for the rear end-er at the first corner dropped it in to first gear by mistake Np, Ruskus' set(ting)up didn't work anyway. Besides, I was hit twice. Did you do it both times? TT

That was brilliant fun I used hard wets in qual as soft wets were going through the roof, and 2nd meant I had the inside line for T1. Got a better start than Brian but then threw the advantage away at T1 by going too wide and then selecting 1st Then had several laps chasing Simon, who suddenly started to get ragged and dropped back. It stayed that way to the pitstops, which went quite well but when I came out Brian was right there again in my mirrors. He had a good run down to the bottom hairpin but then slid a bit wide under braking and nudged me just enough to mean I couldn't avoid the gravel. By the time I had got out and got the car pointed in the right direction, Pete was past and Simon had joined the party. The rest of the race was a fantastic scrap, with numerous side by side moments and many changes of lead In the end, Simon eeked out a small gap and Brian made a couple of small mistakes which left me in 3rd. Congrats to Pete on that 1st win here's a couple of pics from the 2nd half:

IMO this track needs a little more work before being used in the league properly....The probs I saw tonight were new ones on me...never had a similar thing happen. I joined a couple of other servers before leaving multiplay and all was normal...so doubtfully anything at my end.
I'm not totally in agreement, track was fine from my point of view except it didn't seem to support the wet weather too well. No dark clouds just a bit of spray. I know it was only spitting and damp but if it had rained fully do we get wet track or will it look dry except for the spray?

It was fully wet in practice server just before restart. It was clear the track was wet as you could see the glaze of the water ahead.

Perhaps...but it wasn't just me had issues. Hal9000 got disconected, API I noticed went 'missing' for a short while at the end of lap 1 and of course my connecting difficulties which only happened at this track. Spent 2 hrs at Barcelona just after without hiccup?

I loved the track - lots of interesting corners with different lines and choices for the driver. Unlike Simon and Brian I really like the Elise. It is just so sharp and responsive compared to other GTR cars.

My set up must be useless because it's hardly responsive. I also can't see to cure the endless understeer

It was a dry race. Then there should not be a problem with 1-1

It was a dry race. Then there should not be a problem with 1-1 The a$$ was too light. Maybe yours is heavier you're sitting more to the back. Seriously though, I didn't make enough laps and when I put full power down I was dancing. And when I put it gradualy I was too slow. Track is great though. TT

The problem for me is no the understeer which you can eek out mostly with a radical rear ARB and spring settings, it's the dire differentials that spit you off all over the place. You can drive the car smoothly under the limit, but get anywhere near the limit and the car becomes an absolute animal.
