well done FreQ on the championship win I believe.

Indeed, congrats to FreQ for being our first Race07 Championship winner. Afro
Well done to all the Teams and thanks to all the players that took part.

Yes, congrats to Champion FreQ - close fight in the end between us and we had some really good battles along the way. Will remember that Istanbul race for a long time Cheesy

Pau was quite a satisfying track to drive once I had got my eye in. Had some really close racing with Backo in R1 but apparently I was lagging so very sorry about that. I hope it was OK in the 2nd race?

Race 2 we were both trying desparately to find a way past Simon but he drove really well for the first half of the race making it impossible to pass. Had to wait for mistakes from both Backo and Si to get past, then had a clean run to the flag with Bernie in close chase until he took a stop-go Sad

So, R1=P2+R2=P1=18PT lol
- same calculation reversed for Freq

Spun around in lap 2 due to FreQ's warping car and just quit because I didn't want to mess us the championship in this last race.

Just sent a PM.......arghhhhhhhhhhhhh  :'( :'( Angry Angry Embarrassed

Before the race started I checked with all my housemates to make sure nobody was up/downloading...but still I lagged. We're on a 20mb line!!!!!!!! >_<

Felt rubbish after that and only carried on in R1 because there was a gap back to 2nd, straight after that I tried to find out what the prob was and nobody was using the net at all....so just fingers crossed....

I didn't see any sign of lagging at all in R2 - anyone let me know if I did though. The second race was super close and soo very difficult to pass on. Although Pau is a great track when you're by yourself, I've got to admit it's almost impossible to race closely on without contact at some point.

Nice to try it, but the real tracks are much better Smiley I think this track and Macau wil be great "one off" races in WTCC, where no points are at stake and no championship positions, so at least then if there is contact, it's no big deal and people can laugh it off  Cool

Even though I'm feeling a little rubbish, it ended up super close in the championship after me and Bara both missed races! Nice one on the long fight - anyone know who's won?  Shocked

Edit: Ohhh, apparently I've pipped it! Yea, was a nice race in Istanbul  Cool

Was initially worried about this track/car combo but it turned out to be great fun. Really enjoyed blasting/bouncing the Caterhams around Pau.

Some good car/circuit combo choices across the season Don, nice one.

Unfortunately due to Jeff giving up and Gizmo not even bothering to support his team Tongue angel whistling those pesky Junior boys have toppled the mighty Sharks from the top step by taking the team championship. *gritted teeth* well done *gritted teeth*. Wink

I had both races ruined by some weird graphical anomaly. Huh It was fine all through online praccy and during qual and event practise. But 3 laps into race 1 i started to get large sky blue crosses appear in the centre of the screen that spread out until i had just a light blue screen  Shocked
I hanged around until race 2 but the same thing happened instantly on lap 1 so had to retire as couldnt see a thing.  Angry

It may be that my oldish Nvidia drivers are not up to scratch for the modern 'Race'  Undecided but never seen that problem before.

The caterhams are great fun, they feel really lively and how i imagine the real things handle with that great power to weight ratio they have. I'm not a big fan of these very tight street tracks, following the debacle that was Porto last week but it was still great threading the Cat through the streets.
Could make a good series using these, but also think we should give the single seaters a proper run on a few tracks too.

I had no idea we were even close for that...oops  Embarrassed
Maybe I should have not passed you for second......in the end with Bernie's penalty, I didn't need to  Lips Sealed
