Full wing? These things are unspinnable Grin. I used front wing 8 and rear 4 with the rFactor mod Cheesy.

Not for me JR, I could spin a deck chair Cheesy Ken it was the Simbin dry setup third on the list, it had front wing 5 and rear wing 9 ,I took it up to the top, 10  front and 12 rear , and put  6th gear up to the top and spaced the other gears the best i could ,but it sill red lined on the start finish straight. with these setting i could get into 6th gear before i hit Esse De Alta.

But you're an alien Jeff, I can guarantee you I can spin anything through running out of talent. I did at Imola and almost twice as Simon was laughing so loudly through the TeamSpeak.

I think you're right Simon, because it did seem to come back again from time to time. Could it of been that the tyres were melting and then cooling down again?
I'll have to try and get the PD monitor set up again.

I don't really recall seeing the tyre temps get to silly values tbh. Although everytime I took my eyes off the main monitor to look at PD I tended to drift onto the grass! laugh

Well I reckon Sharky was sandbagging last night. I can't usually get to within a second of his lap times  Sad

Bah! I'm not that good at RACE 07. Probably got something to do with the fact that the only time I play it is every other Tuesday in SRou races.

Valid point but it tends to contradict Simons comment about how much time you can make up on the brakes.

Not really Ken. I just said you need to get the braking right, cause having "bad" braking loses a lot of time. As Jeff says, the F-BMWs especially are a lot about keeping the momentum. Fact is that if you're not confident on the brakes then you're going to lose a lot of time.

Default is 8 rear and 5 front but I found that I needed more than that to keep up the corner speed

Just did a quick run with full wings, BB 52F/48R and pressure 80%.

Managed a 1:21.5!!

All well and good now though, should have been doing that last night.   Grin

Now then, Turkey will be a different proposition. I wouldn't have thought full wings was the way to go there with those long straights, having said that there are some long fast corners too. Suppose I'll have to do some testing.
