Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 72s

Pseudo loses his car entering the hairpin and spins into the middle of the track where Bill cannot take evasive action. If Pseudo had lost control and run into someone directly this would be viewed differently, but Pseudo had come to a stop and was hit by Bill who was very unlucky to have no time to react and avoid the collision. This is a simple racing incident and was not reported by Bill. However, this incident does again reinforce how careful we all need to be on Lap 1 with cold tyres and brakes.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 332s

Sandor is passed cleanly by Truetom, and tucks in behind TT entering the corner. Oilseal is a long way back but is either distracted by the action ahead or senses an opportunistic move, but he brakes far too late for the corner and runs straight into Sandor, spinning him off. Oilseal does not wait for Sandor but takes the place, while Sandor loses 2 places. The move by Oilseal was never on and having made the mistake he should have waited for Sandor to rejoin in front of him.

Welcome to the past TT, hope you enjoy sliding these old things around as much as I do.   Grin

You've really picked a first race to join though, this is an extremely tricky combination, the TVR is so light at the rear, but with a short wheelbase, very unstable.  And you spend almost the entire lap holding onto power oversteer through these looong corners.  Apexes are hard to find and my lap times are all over the place, one lap you make a slight mistake and lose momentum at the apex and you're 2 seconds  slower.  Well down in the 51s so far, but then up pops 52s and even a 53.

Ran about 12 laps just now with my eyes out on stalks, and I'm tired, the race is going to be hard work.

Fair enough the TVR is tricky but its as much fun the Cobra for me. Hope some are swayed to use it more often after tomorrow.

and I'm tired, the race is going to be hard work.

I hope so Wink I think I've got too beat both you and Bara tomorrow to ensure I nab 3rd place in the chmpionship without attending Kyalami. If I don't, I'll just cancel the holiday  whistling. Hope PR is around to enjoy it morrow.

I've created 4 setups for this race, all of which suck

I hate all of you that can get under 53s easy, and I hope you slide off track and crash  Angry

Yeah, nasty circuit (up there with Knockhill IMHO). And a car that trashes tyres after 10 laps. Be glad to put this one behind me.

I wasn't suggesting I don't like this combo (unlike Tony Wink) in fact its great fun when you get it right and a very good challenge.  But it will be hard, I don't fancy my chances of keeping it on the tarmac ALL the time  Grin

I don't fancy either of our chances of stopping Bara getting 3rd, but it'll be fun trying.

I never could get to grips with the TVR...and I don't know the track very well, so I may join just for praccy session, see how it goes. I wont race unless I know I wont be a hazzard. Wink

I am really beginning to doubt that standing starts are worth bothering with.  Sad

I know we have been through this before..but again tonight, a couple of slow starters/stallers caused havoc then once again there was little consideration for cars ahead slowing to take turn 1.

Appologies to the person I collected in turn 2, just couldn't hold the back of the car and spun right in front.
