Since getting my wheel... I want to get a few driving sims in...
I've got F1 Racing Championship, which is ok, TOCA2 which is out of date i think also have Grand Prix 3 with 2000 season update... Just wanted anybodies thoughts? Especially on GP3
I think the appeal of GPL is the fact its so real, easy to drive once it "clicks" although hard to master!! Also the cummunity and following is really amazing.... Do any other games "feel" for want of a better word similar to GPL?
Do you have any recommendations?

If you like GP3, why not buy GP4  . There is even a 2007 mod available for it. For me GTR2 feels right, and also some rFactor mods. Nascar 3 is also very good  |

IMHO, NetKar Pro "feels" great in a similar way that GPL feels great. The rest of the game leaves a lot to be desired though. Unfortunately it's pretty much dead as it's not supported any more. You could argue it was never supported really though |

I think GPL is an absolute gem... I can remember seeing for the first time and thinking WOW!!! To some extent I think that everytime I see it, which is alot...
I can remember playing Grand Prix on the Amiga and thinking the same, lotsa mates round playing in "hotseat" mode I think it was...
I don't understand why they have not built on the physics mode to apply it to other kinds of race sim, although since being back into it I noticed the mods available.. Might give those a bash at some point.
