Nice to get on the podium but felt it was more because of my consistency rather than speed. Unlike most here I did run a couple of brief practice sessions and went full wing to get my confidence in the car and track. I could see in practice and qually I was loosing out a fair bit on the straights so I tried a couple of clicks off front and back but didn't manage a flying lap before the session ended (noticed this game doesn't allow you to end a lap when the times up!!).

I went with that setting for the race and the first few laps were hectic to say the least. I still seemed to be loosing out on the straights but neither did I seem to have a big advantage in the corners. Through that final slow sequence I had my DFP against the stops and it was still understeering off the track unless I slowed up and people were still virtually driving around me!!

Anyway the safe setup did allow me to stay on track while others spun or half spun around me. Eventually I had some clear track in front and behind and I thought there would only be a few laps left but when I glanced at the display there was only seven down and thirteen to go!!!

I churned them out and even though picnic passed me a couple of times towards the end he kept spinning to allow me to cross the line in 3rd.

This track is superb and I didn't think these cars were too lost out there. As with the last round, I'd like to know where to get the 2 seconds from though??

Now how do I stop Shark attending the next round and get myself a win Wink Damn Ruskus for letting him passed  Undecided

Your wish is my command because I won't be able to attend the next race as I'm on holiday in Sicily! That is unless Don does the right thing and move the race to next Tuesday instead (now that UKGTR has opened up the slot temporarily). Wink angel

I dunno, just up the steering lock, use the lowest wing setting possible and make the car as stiff as it will go, I'm sure you'll find some entertainment even on the straights as you go bouncing along with a twitchy car and no downforce.

It's probably more fair to everyone else to leave the day as it is?
Don't worry Picnic hopefully you have someone nipping at your heals looking for the draft down those straights Shocked
