Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 3116s

Sandor runs into the gravel and spins the car when he regains the track. He ends up broadside on the track just off the racing line. Sandor starts to get going at the exact moment sbg appears over the brow, and with Sandor filling the racing line sbg cannot avoid and they collide.

Pretty marginal, Sandor may well have checked the track before he started moving, and sbg was barely visible, but he would have been clearly audible and Sandor should have hit the brakes when he heard him, leaving space for sbg to pass. However, since it was a hard angle to check and sbg was barely visible when Sandor started moving, only 1 place lost.

AMENDED - sbg didn't want any penalty applied (but didn't tick the no penalty box) so now reduced to warning.

not sure if i will race here thursday, as stated before, this TC65 class bores me these days, especially for 80mins, but think the allure of Brands GP will be just too strong to resist, especially being my 'home' track.
Will prob take a 'tina as its just so British for Brands Hatch  euro

PS..is the Elite counted as TC65 or GT65? Dont suppose there is any chance of having it included ? as would much rather race one of them around Brands and from past battles it seemed on a par with the Jag Mk2

Yeah, I think MJs suggestion is a good one, the Elite offers no 'unfair advantage' but will be a good match for several of the TC65 cars.  Be nice to see it included.   Smiley

Sort it out chaps, it'll be great fun. I've got high hopes of the hard but fair exchanging of mirrors and door handles for the full two hours.

Don't all be bowing out now!  Grin

Looking at GTL rank it might be a tad faster than the slower TC cars but there's certainly nothing to suggest that it shouldn't be included here. I've got no time to test it but unless any one has any objections then it seems a good idea to me. Hopefully we will see it and the jag, abarth etc. even though they are off the pace.

Its also something we will consider for future Enduro races, ta Smiley.

To add to the ambiance I'm planning to drag the Jag around Brands so you fast guys have something to do (that is: lapping me).

Only a bit worried about tire wear. The heavy machine seems to eat the front tires.
I noticed that the wear is 2 after 3 laps. Is that bad and what does it actually mean? 2% tire wear, 2 inches, 2 Huh??

Any help much appreciated.

ps. or is it a problem that I stiffed up the front to prevent massive understeer?

 Huh

Wear in GTR2 means nothing really, it's only a scale, so I suspect it's the same in GTL.

Wear of 30 is tyres worn message in GTR2. 10-20 Noticable less grip, 20-30 Very little grip, tyre change window. 30+ Is tyres worn and useless tyres.

I've had two cut track warnings in the same place while on the track now. Sad
It's the 200 board before the chicane. I had all 4 wheels on the track but I still got the warning. Undecided

Don't panic, there's no need to dl a fix and we have a workaround in place for Thursdays race Smiley

I got the cut warning just by running the left wheel along the white line just where Tibs mentions.  I thought I'd just avoid that track edge, but if there's a work around, cool.

Mid 51s in the big Stang, seem to spend the whole lap waiting for the front to get itself turned in, think the front left is going to take a hammering.  How long will a pitstop take when you put 2,500 litres of fuel in?  Cheesy

Thanks Ruskus. Now I finally know when to change tires.  Smiley

ps. I still expecting a heavily drifting Shark car appearing in my mirrors after 7 laps to put me 1 lap down  Grin

Well, I don't know who will be driving it, but I'm sure it won't be me Grin.

Only "way around" the dodgy c/t warnings, is to turn flags off completely. Probably the best/easiest way to do it, as the rest of Brands isn't  really cuttable, so probably no danger of peeps cutting everywhere Smiley.
