Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 3116s

Sandor runs into the gravel and spins the car when he regains the track. He ends up broadside on the track just off the racing line. Sandor starts to get going at the exact moment sbg appears over the brow, and with Sandor filling the racing line sbg cannot avoid and they collide.

Pretty marginal, Sandor may well have checked the track before he started moving, and sbg was barely visible, but he would have been clearly audible and Sandor should have hit the brakes when he heard him, leaving space for sbg to pass. However, since it was a hard angle to check and sbg was barely visible when Sandor started moving, only 1 place lost.

AMENDED - sbg didn't want any penalty applied (but didn't tick the no penalty box) so now reduced to warning.

Something unrelated to cut warnings - but more worrying for me .... I keep losing the connection to the server without even managing to complete a lap.

Dodgy GTL install perhaps?

Any other suggestions welcome.

An upgrade of the modem's firmware did the trick for me.

ive not had a single cut warning either so i dont know what you guys are doing wrong?  Huh

Anyone else tried the elite yet? Not sure if its a bit too slow to be competitive here. I was struggling to catch an Abarth driven by the AI on track  Shocked Sad
Feels lovely to drive but is it quick enough?

Same here m8, i've run quite a few laps around here now and no probs - must not be over far enough or something!?

Not sure about the Elite, the best time ever in it at the Bude is 01:52.433 so it's in the right area. You should be able to smoke some Abarths though, the best time for those is 01:53.520  Grin

I wonder if comaparethemarket.com have catheters....

Same as last time, yes. I think you're the only one having problems. Huh

Rubbish - qualified much higher than I expected in (IIRC) 6th, then binned it on the first lap trying to give Ade_B's badly warping car some room. Went off again a lap or two later and struggled to rejoin thanks in part to Blunder's really badly warping car. Angry

I shouldn't have even started - I'm far too tired and after binning it for the nth time in front of Will I decided to sod off and fall asleep during the LM24 qualifying instead.

I think that will be the last GTL race I ever do, except maybe for the odd Healey race. I just have no feel at all for the cars, doubly so on race fuel.

Was going really well in the game - having some good dices with Truetom. Came into the pits and like a plonker I hit the wrong key and was out of the game. Totally stupid error.

Arrrrrrrrgh. Going really well dicing with Sooty for 4th when game froze for 3-4secs which let Sooty past & allowed PR to catch up with me. Then a lap later along S/F straight got a CTD. Dammed AV had decided to notify me it was having a prob & shutting down. By the time I got back in the car was in the barriers at Paddock. Hope it didn't cause you any probs PR. Tried rejoining but the car was all over the track so quit.

I might get a decent race in one of these Enduros one day! Roll Eyes

Bad start, stationary car (lag), car on roof - race over.

That's basically what happened - I can't be arsed to expand on it.  I'm astonished the lagging car never discoed - but the stop starting made approaching it impossible.
