Kruger Enge gets a good run on Mike Beattie on the long straight. As they're passing under the bridge they are side by side, but just after that K. Enge starts to slide to his right, and pushes M. Beattie into the fence. M. Beattie has to take a no fault S+R.

Interesting race for me. Clive G got a little out of control at T2 and I could see him closing rapidly in my mirrors. I stayed wide and expected him to slip through on the inside but watching the replay I see he touched the grass. Anyway next thing he's buried in to the side of my 246!! Then the bloody thing burst in to flames and as I frantically pressed my reset button I kept getting the dreaded "track not clear", even Clive himself drove off before the game allowed me to continue, bah!! Smiley

I did enjoy the chase after that. Hunting down Bernie and Phil, I enjoyed it so much that once I got passed them I promptly lost concentration, ran up a bank, spun and let them all through again!!

By the end of the race I was back to 3rd, mainly due to the misfortune off the other drivers and the fact the server seemed to loose Clive G (serves him right Smiley)

Still an enjoyable drive through the "Green Hell", especially with the Kellaaa update that was available for a short time recently. I may post some screenies later.

Spot on Ken!  well observed.
I was a little caught out by your braking point, but had already decided that I was going to have a look up the inside. the slight extra tweak of the steering to avoid your rear quarters put a wheel on the grass and from there on the perfect plan was in ruins.
I thought I had barrelled up the inside, devoid of brakes, and missed you and would simply imbed my brab into the grass bank, but it seems I collected you on the way through ...sorry.
I had to do a Shift R, which placed me on the track right behind Ken, where I waited in gentlemanly fashion for him to lead away. But Ken did not move and Burt and another car arrived behind so I had to move off to clear the track.
I performed a SnG at the end of the lap but was surprised not to lose all that much time which I quickly made up as cars vanished into the undergrowth.
I had a couple of moments myself including a wild and rocky trip across the grass which I think might have caused GPL to black flag me ( although I thought there was a magic button which turned that particular parameter off for online racing?)
The rest of the race was fairly uneventful, following the two leaders who were well away by now and apparenntly having quite a tussle according to prib.
I finished the race in  3rd spot according to prib but DQ'd by GPL so not sure what that means

I'll probably reinstate you Clive. But I still don't have the replay, so nothing for now.

Yes there is.  The "Disable Checkpoints" box should be checked as per the guidelines at para 5 here.

Somewhere on the second or third lap my router threw a hissy fit and decided it wasn't going to talk to anyone.

Wish it had done it earlier.  Up until then it was as nauseating as expected.

I will not have had any effect on my problem but I noticed that the server was set at 3/384 again and when viewing the race list there were no drivers shown even though the laps were counting down.

Hi all,
Sorry for the massive delay, Its been a hectic week!  Shocked

Replay is up http://www.neurology-crew.com/gplserver

I really enjoyed this race more so than the clubmans event. I actually felt quite stable in the old Honda for the first time I can remember in the historic league. I switched from a 60/60/1 to 35/80/5 seems to suit the Honda quite nicely.

I should be there for div1 tonight.

Take it easy,
                  Bully.
