Kruger Enge gets a good run on Mike Beattie on the long straight. As they're passing under the bridge they are side by side, but just after that K. Enge starts to slide to his right, and pushes M. Beattie into the fence. M. Beattie has to take a no fault S+R.

I give in.

I am not capable of doing a complete lap of this poxy place in the Lotus 43.

Couldn't we cancell it and all go and do something more enjoyable?   Like do-it-yourself dentistry!!!!!

I shall just turn up and stooge around on Tuesday, looking forward to the next proper race.

I could have more fun towing my caravan around Cornwall.

Resets need to be followed by SnG. If you reset more than 8 times, you won't be able to serve them all, and you'll get some 30 second penalties. But if you reset more than 8 times you really should sit this one out.

This is the Ring. So only at this track, we can relax that rule, and you can reset in practice.

Syd

For the Clubmans Bully had the server set up for the pits to be at Pflanzgarten about 2 kms before the start.  That meant the practice laps started at Pflanzgarten so the first lap counted as a timed lap.  Race started from the start line as normal.

Given that shift Rs were allowed in practice (once people got going they didn't need to go back to the pits unless they wanted to change something) this didn't affect the outcome but if you want the practice for the Historic to start in the pit lane you'd better ask Bully to set it back to standard.

Cheers

Phil

I seem to recall that you are called upon to reset with some care and that if you bollox someone's flying lap by not doing so then you could be due a penalty.  Grin

There is no formal rule on this.  It is the moderator's discretion.  To be fair to everybody Syd needs to make it clear what approach he intends to take BEFORE the race starts.  The system can be used to report practice incidents if needs be.

No, leave it where it is, I've been asking for that to be done for years but it kept falling on deaf ears.  Smiley
