Looks like I am working 2-10 tomorrow, unless I can beg someone to swap with me today. So I will probably not make this one Bully.

I'd enter either of the BRMs if that's allowed? I should be able to beat Clive's Lotus 43, if he's certain to be on holiday...

Joined late in qualifying and managed to get onto an "unaided" 11th on the grid. Being more than a sec of the next 2 litre I didn't hold up much hope, until the was a large pile-up towards the front of the field on the run down to Grande Curve. I came out of that round about 7th which soon became 5th and momentarily 3rd as others had more wheel banging incidents. ( some guy posted a rather rude chat about it all !! ). I was soon caught by Artur in the Cooper, who was dragging Evil along behind him. Clive and I then had great fun harrying the Coop for a couple of laps before Art drove off into the sunset. This all left Clive and I fighting over 4th, and we had a total ball, slipstreaming past each other. It all came down to Parabolica on the last lap and I held the inside line, but there was a real Evil move round the outside by Mr G. and he won the drag race to the line Some of the best fun I've had in GPL for years, thanks Clive

Glad someone had some fun. That was possibly the worst UKGPL race I've been in for driving standards!! Like Mike I didn't hope for much being stuck in a 2l at the wrong end of the grid but I knew from some sparring I'd done during the qually that with the aid of the slipstream I could at least have some fun with those slightly ahead of me on the timesheet. The huge mess on the run to CC put paid to any chance of that. I thought I'd got away without a reset but after a couple of laps of not even being able to pull top gear I resorted to a shift-r. That got my engine back on song but I was now virtually last. After being held up and knocked off the track at least once I finally got some space on my own and you can see from the graph I was matching Krugers pace, albeit at the wrong end of the race. I think we should run Pro damage to punish the bad drivers.
