I was going to let the cm/mm mistake pass. laugh I think I was running 6.0cm on the front and 7.5 on the rear.

You should (please, please!) invite Ruskus into your team, he's Dutch! And we're fed up with him stealing all our setups from the Team Shark webby and claiming he wins because he's "fast"  shifty

Stealing your setups? I post my own and you try them...spin off everywhere and start crying over TeamSpeak Tongue;D.

We should organise a Top Gear style race, where we all take GT1's and he turns up in a Boeing 747 Grin

Oh yes, almost 1.200.000N versus your....puny little amount Grin. As long as we race at Anderstorp, I'm happy Tongue.

No wonder you crashed, that's quite a big difference. Smiley

vertigos are great at donington.   It was one of my few races at race2play that went ok, and  jeff, jon and me were 1,2 and 3 that night for team shark.     They are fast!

I went 1-2.      That was good fun that night, but I still remember a certain twit really getting under my skin that night!     Looking at times you were 1.32s in race and quali and I was 33s. Lap record for 911 is nearly 2.5 seconds slower.  Not sure how much slower our vertigo is?

I thought running 1-1.5cm difference in ride height was supposed to help with downforce?  Huh

1.0 cm is normal, 1,5 is slightly high, especially under high curbs you see at that chicane.
What it normally does is give better turn in due to the less stability.

I don't think the rideheight effects these cars as much as the F1 cars did in the 70's. Wings supply much more significant downforce.

Thanks for the setup, TrueTom. Just had a drive with it and it's loads better than I raced with yesterday. Got a PB of 1.29.7, which is 2 seconds faster than before. Cheers! Feel a bit better about my driving now Smiley

Do you use the core of that Vertigo setup as a base for each track with only minor modifications e.g. wing and gearing, to suit? Or, do you pretty much start from scratch for each track?

This was the setup I basically used. Just had more wing 2/7 just have a little play and see what's best for you.

That was an incredable race! Grin

That was the most battles I have had in a UKGTR race so far.Shocked Good racing moments with SBG, Reign Man, Pribeiro and an awesome fight (by my standards) with jan duijs. I would imagine from your point of view jan, you were just held up for a few laps behind a slower car but I had fun and great driving from you mate. A little paint swapping took place I think, but all well above board. Smiley

Sorry to JPS1 who I almost crashed into as you were recovering from a mistake and I was just in the process of making one at the same part of the track. Close call there mate, it was lucky that I did not take us both out of the race Sad

Looking forward to the rest of the season.
