Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0

After encountering pit crew problems on his second required stop, Prof was forced to drive through the pits and therefore did not make his scheduled stop. Unfortunately, caught up in a close chase with the driver ahead, he then forgot to re-schedule his second stop and completed the race having only taken one of the mandatory stops.
This is an unfortunate incident caused primarily by an occasional 'glitch' in the GTR2 pitting procedures.
As there is no way of saying how many places he could have gained/lost through the pit stops, unfortunately the exclusion from this race must stand, however I am adding no additional penalty points due to the unusual circumstances.

  • Prof — Failure to take mandatory pit stop — excluded

We were braking very differently in different corners ...       ... I thought I could get you back on the exit of 9/10 but you broke about 20 metres ahead of where I expected ...

English lesson, please (I'm always eager to learn)  Smiley  : concerning usage of braking - shouldn't it be "... you started braking 20 metres ahead..." ?  Hope you're not considering it on a negative side - I'm not a native English speaker and I'd really like to learn the correct phrase.  Smiley

Other Legends help me on our forum and I think I improved my English, though for a price of them being a bit fed up teaching me, I think.  Grin

I don't think you want your english lessons from an English person Wink. That way you'll be talking Gibbrish in no time Grin.

Yes - or simply "braked". I was so shocked at the sight of the BMW's bum heading for me at high speed I lost the ability to spel corektlee.

 oops

Because of all the thunderstorm predicions, only one dry ~7 lap practice session and since I just last Sunday took a server spot from someone who, unlike me, actually likes the rain, I decided to give this a pass.

But I now see the server wasn't full, and it didn't even rain. Stoopid of me to assume instead of checking the situation I guess.  Embarrassed

Missed out on a good race I think.

Well, I'll try to be there for Suzuka, in the Porsche I think. Or maybe Z3M....Or maybe even Elise. Hmmm. Prolly the porker though.

Situation was abit dangerous really with me having to brake so early and with the vertigos ability brake virtually on the corner, I did try to leave some room on both sides but I got a bit out of shape when I put the brakes on si I might have drifted a bit  Huh

Just watched the replay, don't really understand why TT gave up the win. His move round the outside was nice Grin

The incident at the end of the straight looked like a 50/50. TT misjudged the braking and RM was driving down the middle of the track, which usually leads to problems.

Thank you to JPS for your help letting me lap you (and relap you after I fell off the first time Embarrassed), you were very patient as my underpowered car struggled on the straights.

No worries Ted Cool
