Well a mixed race. Again qualified well below my pb, really dont know whats going on here. All was going well, gradually picking up places as guys dropped out. Then disaster, for which I feel dreadful about. Having a duel for a couple of laps with one of the chaps, on the second lap(of duel) we are neck and neck down the fast straight, I decide to let him thro and brake slightly early, at this point the car hits a bumb and lurches to the right a little, nudging the porsche and knocking him off. End of race for porsche driver, really really sorry mate, there was nothing I could do about it. If there was anything I could have done to avoid the accident I would have.
Think that may have been picnic, I was right behind you two

Shame that happened Greg I was enjoying the tussel. I watched my client replay and couldn't understand quite what happened. I must say though I hadn't left you much room to get out of shape. I too dived on the brakes a little early, was worried about the extra speed I was carrying after the tow down the runway!
Cheers Picnic

Well, that went better than I thought Qualified with a race setup because of lack of practice and set out to just keep it on the track. Lost places to Trutom and Tyf on the opening lap, picked up places as others fell off and tried to keep some pressure on Tyf. I was pushing hard now and Tyf finally looped it out of one of the banked turns, I only just squeaked by Tried to close the gap to Trutom and I was closing when he spun entering the same turn that had bitten Tyf. Now I was chasing 3rd place and the gap was gradually closing, caught up to Paul968 and passed him when he dropped it into the gravel at the end of the straight. He fought back hard but slithered of the track again later. Now I was chasing 2nd place! PaulW was pedalling fast but I was closing in, on the last lap, we had 2 backmarkers to get round and then Paul ran off the road at the last turn!!!!! Turned inside and floored it but he just managed to get to the line first Good race guys ! Oh, and I have a client replay let me know where to send it if it helps!

Got back on, aagramn passed me but let me back in front next straight (?) and then I lost it at T1. At this point I'd had enough and quit.
Just me being very cautious, as my record of finishing races is dreadful so far this season. Looked at the clock and decided I was unlikely to hold you back until the end, and I was more likely fly off the track if I was watching my mirrors.

Blimey, there must have been a glitch in the Matrix tonight because I've no idea how I finished where I did Managed a couple of 1:31's offline but really I felt they were blips rather than anything I could sustain. Wasn't sure about the tyres so I drove most of the practice on my race set-up to check temps and was surprised to find I'd got a 1:32 with it. Q2 I made a bit of a mess of and managed to "say hello" to a couple of cars that had slid out in front of me but managed a 1:32 dead for 6th I think. Race started and I kind of managed to hang on to the train at the front of the pack. I was loosing a few 10ths every lap but driving within myself in the 32's and everythign felt pretty good. Come traffic I did my usual monkey style moves and lost a lot of time compared to the ninja overtaking at the front. I lack practice so, sorry , to anyone I freaked out! Quite a few people were moving off the racing line still making things unpredictable (I thought we agreed we'd stay online and lift so people could pass?). About 2/3's in I came across Paul968 after a spin and tailed behind for a while- I could see you were really stuggling witht the fps there in the corners Gave you a healthy amount of space I hope but when you span I couldn't quite believe I was in 2nd and nearly did the same A few laps on, came across Shark after a spin and thought all my birthdays had come at once but he managed a solid save and got back out in front of me, eeking out a little gap each lap. Right toward the end I could see Mike catching me each lap but, with the time left, I wasn't pushing too hard and felt I could respond if need be to hold him off. We continued passing traffic as we went and then, right at the very end, on the final two corners a 360 looked like it was going to let me pass but then pulled back on to the racing line to make the corner (fair enough!), I slid the tyres and the heartrate nearly hit the roof as Mike closed right in for the final long right. The 360 moved over for the very last left but it meant Mike exited the corner so close to me it was pretty much neck and neck. I wasn't sure if there would be one more lap or not, so moved over to the racing line and also executed my one good block (hopefully fairly Mike but I think there was some contact side to side , sorry, not sure what is fair here as I'm rarely in that position!). Thankfully it was race over and, bloody hell, I got 2nd by 0.2 of a second

I think I know what happened on the formation lap....
There was some REALLY heavy braking on one of the straights, I had to brake hard and someone went into the back of me I think causing a pile-up...
[EDIT for clarity] Not sure there was much could have been done to avoid me.
Pops.

Yep, gutted mate, truley gutted. I can only put it down to braking early to let you thro, caught a bump and the car just lurched to the right, really was nothing I could do about it. Supose its just one of those racing incident things, certainly no malice intended.

Hmmmmm whoever it was then cost me a huge amount of time through having to pit, mind you it focused my mind on the race tonight and I feel pretty happy with the way I drove.

I'm wondering why there was such heavy braking in front, we were close to the start of the straight

That was just about the most eventful race I've taken part in! Qualifying was once again horrible for me, it's my biggest weakness and definately something to work on (though I'm not sure how!). Ended up in 14th. Was right in the middle of the parade lap pile-up, only the replay will sort that out. Managed a really stupid spin on lap 2, lost about 20s waiting to re-join and ended up in 18th. I have to admit my finger edged toward the 'Esc' key at that point but decided better of it! It was a new experience for me moving up the field, gradually picking up places, pretty good practice I guess. I drove pretty well, picking up quite a few 1:33 laps. Mixed feelings really; happy (and feels somewhat undeserved) to finish 7th but disappointed about my spin, an opportunity to finish a bit closer lost. Pops.

Any news on whether we have a full replay?
If not, could we possibly have the partial replay to download?

Aagramn is going to try to upload his client replay tonight. None of the "full" client replays appear to show the pace lap, so Picnic is going to check his (which ends early) to see if it does.
