Qualified 2nd with as good a time as I have had, thought I might snatch pole with my last lap but just lost 2 tenths at the end of the lap somewhere.
Somehow I forgot to switch out of qualifying mode when I started the race. Tried to drive the car as fast as qualifying and locked up heavily into T2, was pretty ragged trying to keep up with the flying Mark. Then made the same mistake lap 2 whilst still going faster than the car wanted which let JonM through.
After that steady in 3rd was slightly slower than JonM so had given up on 2nd hoping for a mistake from those ahead, till about 13 mins to go and found JonM had made an error out of final turn and I was only 1 sec behind him. Then 2 laps later came across a stationary yellow Saleen right on racing line into T2 saw JonM swerve round to avoid and go off to the left of T2 missing the tyres but I guess if he continued he lost at least 30 seconds? Unfortunately I clipped the stationary Saleen lost control and ploughed head first into tyre wall killing my engine. End of race.
Think it was TrueTom's Saleen succumbing to the 1 fps bug. Stupid fooking game. Not much TrueTom JonM or myself could do about that. Stoopid fooking game.

Very good race for me, sorry to hear people had problems. Qualified 9th on med tyres, TrueTom got a good run out of T1 and outbraked me into T2 on the first lap with a good clean move. Had an interesting 3 way scrap with Smoothy & Tom for about half the race, most of the time we were all within a second on the track. I was a bit slow through the last corner, so was never able to get close enough at the end of the straight to attempt a pass. Unfortunately Tom had the 1 fps problem, scaring the hell out of me as I zoomed towards a stationary yellow Saleen and passing straight through without contact. Caught up with Smoothy and followed him closely, without quite being able to get close enough. We picked up positions as other drivers retired until we were 4th and 5th. Towards the end we were caught by a recovering JonM. I held him up for a lap or two until he got a much better run out of a corner and passed me. Then Jon got past Smoothy on the last lap. There was about a second seperating 4th, 5th & 6th as we crossed the line. Great fun, and I'm pleased to be getting some race finishes at last.

It was a feature that was good and worked, because of their product ethos they HAD to remove it :'(

Well that was interesting, joined in the CR5 for practise, which was interesting as ALL my practise had been in the 360 for last nights race Found I was waaaaaay off the pace so rejoined and thought for a change I'd give the lambo a try using Shark's setup. Qually I did pretty well considering I've only driven the Lambo twice before months ago. Got into the race and felt fairly comfortable until I span on the exit of turn 4 on lap 1 or 2 resulting in me being at the back of the grid someway down on time. Thought "ahh well nothing to lose now" and proceded to drive like a man possesed. Fought my way back up to 11th place chasing Tyf who was about 15 secs ahead of me. Noticed he was dropping time rapidly and guessed he must have had an off and continued to close til the gap was 4 secs, thought " yes, this is it catch him, pass him I'm in the points" unfortunately in my excitement I squeezed a little too hard on the throttle at turn 6, spining on the grass. To add insult to injury SBG and the est of the leaders appeared round turn 6 to lap me, just 2 laps off the end of the race and what would have been my first without being lapped

Had a good quali finishing in 3rd behind Mark and Shark The race was great and crap for me. Started off following mark and shark but shark ran wide and let me through, I just followed mark for a while until I came into the last bend and tried to get the power down to early and spun Then had a couple of laps with shark behind us. Then came the frozen saleen, think it was truetom. I just skimmed him and luckily got sent the good side of the tyre wall, took about a kilometer so slow down though but I was just glad to be still in the race after seeing shark get the rough end of the stick. After that I had a chase on with Aagramn and smoothy, Had great fun battling with them and just sneaked it on the last lap with all of us close together, It was touch and go with my worn tyres but I was still able to brake quite late and hold a decent line. Grats to Ginsters on his Victory

Well what a race. Qualified 7th with a resonable time for a change. Onto the race, followed Blaz and SBG round for ages, dont think we were ever more than 3 secs apart for the whole race. About halfway thro Blaz made a small mistake and I was past on the main straight. So i'm now up to 5th, having gained a place somewhere along the way with a casualty falling off somewhere. Before I know it I'm in 2nd, this cant be right I think, gtr having a wobbly again ? As it turns out 1st thro 3rd were involved in incidents, the latter 2 with truetoms 1fps event. So its time to try and catch SBG, try as I might I cant close the gap to less than 1.5 secs. Pushing a little to hard sees me run a little wide at T1 and Blaz nips thro, oh well I think, 3rd would be a good result. Anyway on we go and this time Blaz makes a small error and I'm back up to 2nd. One lap to go, can I hold on, well no. Following some great driving by Blaz again he nips thro and i'm back down to 3rd, which is where I finish.
A total of 1.1 secs seperated the top 3 after a fantastic race. Blaz and I swapped places a total of 4 times, all at speed and without contact, unbelivable, thats the way racing should be. When you consider we were racing for 2nd and 3rd with SBG only 1.5 secs ahead in 1st its amazing really.
Obviously I didnt really deserve 3rd what with the 1 fps incident taking 2 guys out.
Grats to SBG for a great win and big thanks to Blaz for a great battle.

What a difference a day makes! Last night I had a mare but tonight I had all the luck in the world. In quali I kept spinning on out lap and was fast running out of time. Luckily this meant that most others had already given it a go and I was left with a free run. I put in a good run, for me, and was delighted with fourth on grid. Well behind the really fast guys but just leading the five or six of us in second tier. From last night, I knew how hard its is to overtake at anders so I knew I had a pretty strong position and was determined not to give it away. It was almost taken from me when locutus misjudged the deadly t2 and skidded across track in front of me (looked like your quick thinking saved me). First 5 or 6 laps came under real pressure from blaz but held him off by carefully avoiding silly mistakes. Considering how many mistakes I made in the slipstream here last night, it was thanks to his dilligence we had a good/fair battle. It was not until he made a slight error that I could relax and drive a little less defensively. I thought, great a fourth will do me fine and then bugger me if the three guys some 10 seconds ahead all ran into trouble in what seemed the same lap. Surreal time now as I slowed not wanting to throw away a lead and those behind did not really gain. Perhaps they were as happy as I was with their placings? Just very nervous 7 or 8 laps to finish (nerves not helped by coming across tyf on last lap clearly struggling with tyres, I know you were being careful but nerves were shot by then ) and I bagged pretty lucky win. But who cares, I'm chuffed (Just read that blaz and greg were to busy fighting each other to catch me. Even more good luck.)

Sorry to all who had trouble 'cause of my stationary car. Is this called 1 fps bug? I think not, I wasn't able to rejoin, had ctd but only after some time when the game was totaly frozen, no command responded, black screen. It's allways hard to finish like this, but even more if others were involved in an accidental software error. Game development didn't get that far yet, I guess.
Before that s..t we had a really good threesome(!) drive with Smoothy and Aagramn. We were roughly equal and the one that makes a mistake... Game chose the 4th possibility, lol / grrrrrrrrr. On to next race.
