Good race again...enjoyed that one. Quallied with a pb...1/2 a sec quicker than I had gone before...so pretty content with 8th on the grid. Made two places on the warmup lap... ...so Unlucky TT and Dan. Dan got past easily on the first flying lap when I had a semi-spin on cold rubber...chased him for a few laps but he was always extending away so I contented myself with trying to ensure I didn't fall any further down the order. Was holding a pretty steady gap to Dave behind....when I saw Dan in the sand and nipped passed back upto 6th. I was a little concerned though as my tyres were fading rapidly and the last thing I wanted was pressure from behind, but I think Dans tyres were worse and I managed to open a slight gap. Had fun with Dave on the last couple of laps....that nearly turned into disaster I slowed a fair bit to try and ensure my position, but I think Dave smelt blood and he started closing a little too quickly for comfort. But half way round the last lap, I realised he wouldnt get me so cruised a bit to the line...teasing him.....Little did I realise that it WASN'T the last lap....we still had one to go as I had seen the time had run out...but obviously I hadn't been lapped so had to go again...under imense pressure from Dave this time for the whole lap. Managed to hold him off though....just. Grats podiummies.

Sounds like I got overtaken a lot in dispatches Shame about start as those on my pace, including TT and maybe Dan, bit the dust way to early. The massa felt awful in pracci session pre race and a phone call just before kick off made me wonder if it was worth it but glad I gave it a go. Oddly the car was very consistent in race (very odd in my experience) and I was pleasantly surprised to hang onto Madd, Busi and Brian the whole race long. The brakes on the Lambo and Brians extra grunt made it difficult to challenge them seriously but good fun that Congrats to the podium.

That went about as well as expected. Didn't at all have all the stuff setup right after my OS reinstall, was having to go out to the Logitech Profilers and TeamSpeak and so on and when I got a couple of laps in in qually my setup felt absolutely atrocious. Couldn't really do much with it for the race as I didn't have time with all the fiddling. Had a fun scrap with my team mates Picnic and Prof in the first third of the race. After I got clear of them, I just couldn't make the F550 go any faster, it was truely awful in the corners and under braking having set the duct too high, not sorting out the suspension it was the most understeery thing ever.
Still, top 10, not bad.

A bit lucky there gaining through the misfortune of others. Squeezed past Nsfast and got overtaken by a much faster Shark on the uphill straight. Watched Picnic looming ever larger in the mirrors wandering how hard to fight (as if I had the choice ) when he made a mistake at the hairpin giving me a good gap. Concentrated really hard to the finish not daring to look at fuel, tyre data. Forty minutes flew by. Happy with much higher than usual finish and well done to the Pods.

Enjoyed that, seemed like I was slowly gaining on the guys infront, though probably due to them fighting, and was managing to hold off the guys who had rejoined behind me, evert etc with a comfortable gap. Realised i hadn't quite filled it righr so though i was catching Picnic on the last lap i had to push it around on fumes when MJ suddenly caught me up into the chicane, at the same time i got massive slowdown to 50-60fps from the usual 100+ but crossed the line with 0 fuel, Few

It's official, Jeff's car lagged. You have been given a 25 second penalty. Me wins. Me rules On a side note, your laptimes from lap 4 to lap 14 were all faster than my fastest lap. Even happier with 2nd now LOL

had a disaster of a race unfortunately and for once the maserati felt pretty good after all the tinkering i did to it in practise. Tyre temps were good, grip was pretty good and it was mega on the brakes. I was able to brake so much later and deeper into corners than the vettes that i had dramas trying to avoid them and ended up spinning a couple of times :'( Lost loads of time with 2 particular spins and so despite getting past a few guys, i ended up back down the order each time. I seemed to spend my whole race behind one vette or another but as soon as i stepped out of their tow i couldnt get past the damn things up the straights and then be all over them again in the corners. I really need to practise 'racing' other cars with the gt1s as opposed to single car, no-traffic practise as its a shock to the system when suddenly fighting other various GT cars in the race proper. Just not got enough seat time in them. One of my favourite tracks so disapointed to finish a lousy 12th.

That was pretty good - was lucky in that the way the grid formed up I was able to open up a gap over the car behind during the opening few laps and concentrate on the cars ahead; once Shark had cleared the pack behind I really had to squeeze as much as I could out of the Lambo in the middle sector where it shines to avoid him making up time on the straights, and with 5 minutes to go I was satisfied he wasn't going to catch me.
Then I was suddenyl catching Pseueueuedo ahead, so I threw any remaining caution to the wind in order to try and force a mistake - nearly got one in the final corner of the final lap and with hindsight I wish I simply gone for the out braking manouever, but happy with 7th place and a virtually mistake-free performance (I ran too far left in Eau Rouge once and got a cut warning).

A decent race for me last night. My race pace was steady but slow compared to others...I was carrying way too much fuel for this one.
Had some good battles throughout, mainly with cars trying and eventually overtaking me!
My race was finally ended with a silly stop/go for cutting at Eau Rouge near the end. By the time I returned from the pits I was running at the back.

Me too - I finished with something like 20 litres left, but always better to be carrying a little too much than a little to little?

Wasn't really surprising with your calculations: 2L a minute, plus 10 litres spare and then something more because it's Spa . Easier to do 40 minutes x 60 seconds = 2400 seconds/laptime (131 seconds)= 18,3 laps x 4,7L a lap = something like 87L IIRC. Taking the looong formation lap into account, I was very generous with my 95 L . I still never trust my calculations
