My FFB/Center Spring in my wheel decided to not work in the race, so I was doing rubbish..went off a few times and became a hazard, so retired myself to save taking anyone off!

PC froze on lap after my stop around half way. And i was enjoying it and just starting to think i might be able to gain a few places with people pitting!

Basically spent the race right behind Prof, but made a stupid mistake when being lapped and got surprised how quickly they caught me into the chicane and while looking back missed my braking point and went straight on into the barriers. Luckily it hadn't affected the car and managed to get back up to Prof while trying not to get caught out by Legzy braking into the first corner Wink

My PC had a complete black screen freeze with about 30 minutes left. Hope my car didn't cause any problems to anyone.

I wish if PCs were going to crash like that that they'd do it right at the start. laugh

Nearly went straight into the back of you but managed to get away with some simple body work damage by jinking left Cool

Good Race for me, my first outing in my newly acquired Porka 911 GT2 Car, 4th I think (my favourite GT2 position)
Good battle with API and Spanner, until Spanner just slowed right down after the pit stops what happened engine?
Then just needed to keep The Prof behind with a reasonable Gap. Congrats podiun in both classes Cool

Your frozen car was at the end of the backstraight so I guess nothing happened apart from me losing it  Grin

Great battle there BTW before the pitstop Smiley

Will watch the replay and then apologise to anybody I have to, I was doing my first race with a new steeering wheel and I was not completely comfortable Undecided apart from my PC crash and having to start at the back of course Angry

Well, that was a pleasant surprise. Thought I was going to be about 1,5-2 secs off the pace. Instead I could be competitive in the beginning, with fresh tyres. Not so much with worn tires though  Undecided

A few laps into the race I was in 2nd in the middle of a sandwich. I hate being in the middle  Tongue  Still, it's pretty intense having to watch out both ways  Grin  Okay okay, I'll shut up now.

Quite big differences in different sections. I was totally lost the last three or four turns, braked perhaps too early into T1, and somehow was slow in T2. Exit to the back straight I had a clear advantage in the beginning at least, and you guys braked way early at the end of the back straight. My first couple passes there weren't even planned. Of course, there wasn't going to be any more after that  Embarrassed

I say you braked early, even though I ran off there, but that had other causes. Both irl and in simracing I loose focus after a bit, notice it when I find myself contemplating how I'm going to explain away this awful mess I'm making of my driving/riding afterwards. I was just thinking I would say you braked early for this corner, when I foolishly ran it wide  Cheesy  Wasn't even that hot going in. Sort of a mental target fixation.

For the first time ever, I've passed someone in the pits, yehaaa. What happened TT? Oh, and thanks for turning me in the right direction after my spin  Cheesy, sorry about that.

Came out just behind Gazza, and then I ran it wide at that corner I mentioned. Tried catching up after that, but no go. Reign Man and someone else must have had a come together or something, because I didn't pass anyone yet ended up cruising to the finish in 3rd anyway.

Grats to FreQ and Gazza, and thanks to everyone for a good race again. Many GT2s/lappers left huge amounts of room, very kind of you.

Sorry for hitting you MJ, I was going to try the inside, but midexit you were so far in I thought you were letting me by on the outside, but I thought wrong.

Scared the carp out of me - ran through the corner of it but luckily no collision detected. angel

Great early scrap with MJ as Leuven and Gomes disappeared off up the road. Took me about 4 attempts to make a pass into the first turn work despite being miles faster out of the final turn but after that I was able to stretch out the gap. Stopped just after half distance, partly in reaction to MJ stopping and partly because my front left had reached 20 on the wearometer. Shocked

With Leuven's untimely removal I just had Gomes to chase - managed to close the gap from 10 to 8 seconds in the laps immediately after his stop, but once he'd warmed his tyres up I stood no chance of catching him and backed off, being kind to the GT1 traffic and simply managing the gap to the cars behind. Second place is a better result than I expected, helped by the disconnections of course but also by me really starting to get to grips with the 360.

The final round should be awesome - I think I may have just about sewn up the GT2 driver's title now, if so I'll be able to go hell for leather. Grin

I found the F550 hard work on that track sweatdrop

I got stuck on the side of the road for a while after a big mistake on the track. Roll Eyes

Had a nice fight at the start with Simon and got close to Madd just before I lost it. Sorry to Martin, I messed up the slow chicane and ended up blocking you a bit. The resulting 'touch' was my fault I think.

That's two fairly mistake free races for me at Estoril this week but never feel fast or comfortable here. I started with 100l fuel and worked hard to keep the Porsche behind for the first 40 minutes (was it Spanner?). I hoped to make time/places at the pit stops but lost places instead and couldn't get near JPS ahead of me and tried instead to make life easy for lapping GT1 drivers. Avoiding the Shark vehicle parked at the end of the back straight was the highlight of the second stint, I was mighty relieved to drive stright through his stranded car without damage.

Well Done to pods

Been watching the replay and I actually did nothing wrong. But two cars disappearing behind me when I was passing/lapping them got me confused (but was just them stopping/spinning themselves Grin)

So as I said I had an awful race for 1. having not practiced with the Vette, 2. racing with a new wheel and 3. having a problem with my pc and having to start last.

During the first 5 laps I had to pass the GT2's and the slow GT1's, after that I was already around 30 seconds behind the leader. Kept that gap until I did another mistake fighting with Simon, which luckily didn't collect him! Pitted together with him but he exited the pits much earlier and I was alone after that, even more after his retirement Sad

Next guy ahead was Zak, we know each other quite a lot on track Grin and he kept me behind. I did another mistake and race was then finished. Result (7th) shows my poor performance compared to the sprint race in the Lambo. My Tuesday lap records remain Grin

Grats to podium
