Moderator's Report

It is the first lap. Pseudo is struggling with cold tyres and has just been passed by Dan Minton at the first of two right hand corners. Now Truetom tries to do the same thing taking an inside line towards the second corner. Pseudo, however, gets good drive out of the first corner and Truetom struggles to get the parity which Dan had obtained before he passed.
Pseudo brakes early for the corner and when contact is made, TT is still well under control and will be able to make the corner but entering at a higher speed. I would be satisfied that this is a racing incident caused mostly by the difference in which the two cars have come up to racing temperatures.

Might be my first race in Brno in all seasons without a big mistake.  Smiley Great battle with Dan, as you said, we actually swapped places two times, I think. Good stuff.  Cool  Had meds all around and they were over 25, LF a bit more.  Smiley  Had calculated fuel usage twice before the race, couldn't believe it was so much wrong. Took 90 l fuel just to be on the safe side. Came with 5 l left - unlucky, sbg, same situation as I had in the first race in Hock  Undecided  I must say I made more than 50 laps in training and had the most unusual setup so far. Soft front end and quite hard at the back, guess this made tyre worn more equal. Grats Mike & Madd and others. One race left.  Cool

HUGE apologies to NSFast who caught me on the last lap. I tried to leave you room up the last hill and lost it off the racing line into the last corner causing you to crash as my front left gave up the ghost - completely my fault.  Sad

No problem Prof. Smiley

A very mixed race for me. My usual much too conservative start for the first few laps as car after car went past me, and finally an unforced error put me at the back. I always seem to qualify higher than I should and am then under pressure straight from the start.

I picked myself up and started to get used to the car and track and from then on it was a really good fun race. Went past API, then had a great battle with JPS for a few laps  Grin, then past Jan D and a last lap sprint to catch Prof.

Congrats to the podium guys and thanks to the organisers.

congrats to podium!.

Well I did not have any practice at all before race. nor did I have a particular good setup a bit too much throttle oversteer on exits....

...however what I did get is a ace battle with Dave Jonzo (apologies if name not correct) - I manged to take advantage of early traffic. but I was unable to shake him at all..so I just pushed and pushed but to no avail... this however took a beating on tires and was seeing a dropofff on laptimes. so I knew I was unable to hold him off for too much longer....we had almost an entire lap side by side moments before he took me on the inside with a great move. unfortunately my tires wear caused me problems to chase him back down...

...moments later I saw him off track and reclaimed my prize.. until the inevitable happened...I lost control and took a kung foo lesson with a wall... guess who won!.

Good clean racing david. enjoyable.

Till next time..

hehe, not far wrong Pseudo  Smiley

not that i ever find time to use or race them properly  Sad

Looking at the complete lack of posts on No-grip or RSC lately, seems the bigger long awaited mod packs like the FIA and ALMS came just far too late for the GTR2 sim community. Most of the sim racing forums i normally visit are like graveyards lately. I blame simbin for losing the momentum with no updates, patches, add-ons and then bringing out GT Evolution  Roll Eyes They could have re-invigorated the whole racing community but peeps have lost interest on the whole.  Sad

Glad to see a good turnout again last night  Cool Racing was great all through the field.
So does that mean Nogaro turned off drivers ?...similar thing happened with Adria, seems a lot of us dont like the silly little tracks.
