Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1730s

Matt is lapping Racepace and appears to be undecided as to which side to pass on. Matt seems to change his mind, starting on the left side then moving over to pass down the right side.
Racepace seems to be watching his mirrors and it looks like he reacted to Matt at first appearing to be passing on the left so moves slightly to the right.
This is just a racing incident unfortunately caused by hesitation and a mix up between the drivers as to which side the pass was being made

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 2318s

Last lap and Martin got good overlap on spanner approaching the final hairpin. Spanner didn't realise Martin was there and turned in to the apex making contact and forcing Martin to slow.
After the contact, spanner carried on to finish ahead of Martin.

Although Spanner states he didn't know Martin was so close, the contact made would have been felt and IMO spanner should have then waited for Martin to resume. Therefor I am awarding spanner a 1 place penalty.

  • spannerpenalty — Closing the door on a car with overlap — 1 place lost

No differences....I only added the UKGTL version so that any folk that didn't have the available in game funds could still obtain the car.  Wink

Just wondering what's the usual sort of laptime round this track?

On the GTLrank I am the only one with a laptime in the Austin Healey with a 57.006. I tried the DB4 but it's not an easy drive!

You're about level with me at the moment then with a 57, still a couple of days practice to maybe knock off a second or two if we're lucky.  Shocked

I think there is something odd with Mallory on GTL Rank. I think the cutoff time to eliminate warp laps is set at 55.000s, which is too slow. According to GTL Rank I am the outright lap record holder in a Mini!, but I have done low 54s in the Alfa & Cortina.

Gonna give the Ferrari a run this race. Mid 54s with it at the moment. I guess the experts will be in the 52s! Huh

I'll pick what slides best around turn 1 (brilliant corner Smiley). Prolly the Aston for me.

Is that your "race face" Dave?

It does indeed exist Alex, but it was originally designed for horses to trot around. I've only ever watched classic bikes race round here, none of which flung themselves into the barriers like the AI cars. That hairpin is a vicious swine; keep well clear.
