Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1730s

Matt is lapping Racepace and appears to be undecided as to which side to pass on. Matt seems to change his mind, starting on the left side then moving over to pass down the right side.
Racepace seems to be watching his mirrors and it looks like he reacted to Matt at first appearing to be passing on the left so moves slightly to the right.
This is just a racing incident unfortunately caused by hesitation and a mix up between the drivers as to which side the pass was being made

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 2318s

Last lap and Martin got good overlap on spanner approaching the final hairpin. Spanner didn't realise Martin was there and turned in to the apex making contact and forcing Martin to slow.
After the contact, spanner carried on to finish ahead of Martin.

Although Spanner states he didn't know Martin was so close, the contact made would have been felt and IMO spanner should have then waited for Martin to resume. Therefor I am awarding spanner a 1 place penalty.

  • spannerpenalty — Closing the door on a car with overlap — 1 place lost

Oh forgot to say no problem Martin, now I understand why you were racing me.  As I said, at the time when adrenaline is flowing it seems a big deal but it really isn't!

I always drive with the tags on (tab key) so I can see who's who.  So much for realism eh.

Starts should be even quicker if you use manual clutch (think you still can at the start even if you use auto-clutch). I would have thought there's a tenth of a second or so whilst 1st is selected if you wait in neutral?  Not sure. I've always used full manual clutch, map a button on the wheel to clutch, sit in 1st gear, clutch in, hold 2/3-3/4 max revs (depends on engine torque) and at Go let go of the clutch button and try to control the wheelspin.  Or buy a G25 which sounds like it has a clutch pedal!

GTL themed baby clothing Legzy, that's dedication.  Wink

If we're posting cute kid pictures then I'm in!

Here's Pops Jr about to get stuck into iRacing, hamming it up for the camera as usual, I keep telling him he'll miss the apex  Roll Eyes

This is the one handed start technique as recommended by 6 week old Junior Legzy. It leaves the other hand free to do her hair (as demonstrated) or to send 'hand gestures' to drivers that wont let you lap them  Grin

That's quite a head of hair for a 6-week old Legzy!  Shocked

Perhaps she should be joining the Legends team Wink

Shouldn't it read "Spit crew"?
