Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1175s

JPS slides wide in turn 1, allowing Picnic to pass him on inside, but Picnic is only 90% clear of JPS's car before turn 2 and JPS contests the place, getting about 50% alongside as Picnic approaches the apex.

There is contact and Picnic ends up deep in the gravel. In my opinion this is a racing incident.

JPS touches the gravel and is able to rejoin but in doing so heads directly for the racing line instead of staying to the right whilst getting back up to speed and nearly collects David Milne in the process.

  • JPSwarning — dangerous rejoin
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 1740s

Thirty seconds earlier, Dave Gymer gets a run on JPS who switches across the track in front of him, causing him to swerve to avoid running into JPS's car. Then, coming out of the final corner, Dave once again gets a run on him and moves left to attempt a pass; JPS squeezes over in an attempt to discourage a pass and avoids getting turned across Dave's nose by mere inches.

The rules say quite explicitly: "A driver must not move over on a straight to prevent a pass if doing so would force the driver behind to lift off or brake to avoid running into them." Such behaviour is unsporting.

  • JPSwarning — blocking
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 1918s

JPS is defending from Picnic. Approaching one of the medium speed right handers, JPS brakes slightly earlier than Picnic expects, and instead of taking advantage, the latter locks up and slides into JPS, running into JPS and sending him off the track and into the gravel.

In light of the tricky conditions I'm reducing the normal penalty from 2 to 1 places.

Toooo late TT...already seen it  Lips Sealed laugh

Cheers everyone.

I was using 2/5 wing for exactly the same reasons as Dave. Soft fronts and rears due to the 'damp' and low temps which ended up with about 24 wear on left side 22 on right. 90% brake pressure too.
for damp/wet conditions I usually turn down the 'accelerator pressure' too in the controller config, but forgot last night and had 2 semi-spins due to getting the right foot down too heavy.

It is a good setup I have for the 360...works well everywhere...Dan Minton 'borrowed' it too for testing at Nurb the other day....knocked 8 /10ths off his best time first lap. It does require smoothness so I reckon a proper smooth driver like SG would find it good, but it doesnt like any jerky movement with the controlls...off track everytime.  Smiley

Good gawd, dont share a great Fezza setup out to everyone or it will be like the real FIA GT race at Nogaro...one RSR versus a 9 car F430 red train ! Shocked ...anyone see that race?

I'd like to point out that the RSR 'Led' the ferrari train by a good 5 seconds after just a few laps  Cool...shame i cant repeat that feat  Roll Eyes

Im glad a few more are taking the F360 lately, means i get to recreate all those great Porsche v Ferrari battles on track

Prof has now been restored to his rightful position based on the replay. I must say I've never seen that before - such a long delay in a car joining the grid that GTR2 totally loses track of it - usually a delay like that always leads to a disco.
