Phew, was thinking you'd gone stellar Madd! Low 40s, waaa. Tried the Corvette, totally not suited to such a twisty technical track, but quite a blast. Down to low 52s. Is everyone gonna be in Cobras and Elans or will there be a few E-type/Fezza/Healeys (apart from Dave ). With its horrendous tyre wear and weight the Vette isn't going to zoom away from them.

Phew, was thinking you'd gone stellar Madd! Low 40s, waaa. I've just checked my Career blt file (too late to test it out) and yes, low 1.40's in both the Cobra and Elan, and the track is listed as Jarama79, I'll test the track again tomorrow to confirm it (memory a bit fuzzy!!) but I'm sure that's what I'm doing here.

There are 2 versions of Jarama for GTL, Jarama & Jarama79. The 79 version is about 10s a lap faster.

My expectations for this race arent very high. I did a 2 laps test with a few cars and only managed to achieve 1.43. The car decision will be beetween: -Healey -Black Cobra, yep....it seems to have more handling on this track -Elan -Alpine, in fact i got the feeling that i could done less 2 seconds with this car after deal with its natural understeer, it might be the one for this track, with the advantage of the 5 speed gearbox, which is more usefull in a track with Jarama layout Tho 2 laps is not much to have a reasonable feeling and setup, but....it is something Cheers

Had a few laps here in various cars also. Blue Cobra 1:41 Elan 1:43 Aston (ever hopefull) 1:44 Vette 1:45
Not tried Healey yet, the default setup for the Ferri SWB didn't suit this track for me and I think 47's were all I could manage. I would have thought the Renault was underpowered for here

Erm, am I the only one getting game crashes here at Jarma? I've had about six crashes so far & I've hardy used it yet. Normally my GTL is totally solid. :'( They've all happened about 20-30 mins into practice or Qually.

Since I had my computer upgraded GTL has been steady. Only program I have problems with is Race07/Evo which locks up occasionally. Seems to dislike me trying out tooo many cars. Bill

I'll find out next week, if it's going to play up it normally does on this PC.

Ohoh, another here with CTD after about 20mins. Odd because I did a NoGrip race here some time ago without any problems both offline & online

Did a 10 lap offline race last night, full grid. No problems during the race other than a couple of jitters, but the game CTD'd when displaying the results screen after. Will try again with fewer cars and a longer race later.
