The race list in IGOR was a bit ropey tonight.  In this situation you should try connecting directly.  If you've been in chat you will know the server is up and the IP address is always published in the race announcement.

IP wasn't on the announcement for this race, or I would've tried it.

Still, I seem to have been awarded points somehow. I guess that is just for joining and leaving the server in qualifying? They should be removed really.

Shame you guys missed it - I got lonely after my spin on lap 3, Then EvilClive disco'd so there wasn't even the chance of catching someone with a similar pace.
Couldn't catch Hristo, and Syd couldn't catch me so the only cars I saw were our backmarkers.

Pretty certain I'd have managed a good close race with you Cloud  Wink

I was that backmarker  Grin - I only learnt the track that evening and took no chances during the race so was lapping in the 1:29 -1:30 range.  I actually found myself quite enjoying East London by the end of the race.  Dissapointed that I will have to miss the 65 race next week as I imagine that will be a good close race.

Great pity that the field was so small - come on everyone the 66 cars are not that bad!

Appologies to Clive for slowing him almost to a halt at the start, even though I had very short 1st gear using the clutch instead of simply shifting from neutral dropped the revs completely and it took awhile to get up to speed. We were all cautious at T1 for which I'm thankful as at some point we were 3 cars side by side. I tried to get some sort of a rythm early on but it was difficult with the cars ahead taking different lines or braking at different points. Eventually made it up to 3rd and then the leader (not sure who it was) had a spin or something in the penultimate corner and the car in 2nd (not sure who it was either) collected him and I just managed to go inbetween them and into 1st place. The car was fun to drive although it later produced some understeer which caught me out a few times, but nothing major. Looking forward to the 65s race at the track, I quite like it.

The leader who spun was probably EvilClive.
I'd been having a great dice with him until I ran slightly wide in T1 and span.
Rejoined in 4th or 5th and had re-inherited 2nd by the end of the next lap  Grin

Must admit I'd wondered what happed to you on the line, was slightly worried that Clive Loynes may have had to dive towards me to avoid you!  Shocked

I'm also really looking forward to the '65 race here next week, should be some very good racing  Smiley
