Any of you chaps using the G-Racer plugin for the Logitech G15 keyboard with GTR2? It works fine for GTL but in GTR2 it just shows the intro screen and doesn't show any motec information. I had a look at the read me file that's in the G-racer folder but cant find where in the game i have to make the changes Huh

Since PDx2 and the like I've not used this but I can say it used to work. I assume the plug-in is in the GTR2 sub folder. I'll look later to see if I still have it installed but there may have been a rebuild in-between Sad

This is what it says in the readme file.

Installing G-Racer
==================

Run the application, it will register on LCD available applications itself.

Those small buttons under the display simulate the hardware buttons on the real keyboard:

1: timings
2: temperatures
3: timings (second option)
4: temperatures (second option)

Activation
==========

Be sure the following option into your \UserData\[playername]\[playername].plr file is set to "1":

[ Game Options ]
...
Write Shared Memory="1"
...

Troubleshooting
===============

If you do not see any screen a/o the LCD screen is flickering, right mouse click on your G-15 Keyboard Profiler, Select LCD Control Panel... and disable any other running application than "G-15 Profiler" and "G-Racer".
If the timing/temperature screen doesn't show any data: check your .plr file ("Activation" section of this document).

===============

G-Racer is in program files and the plugin shows in the keyboard game panel manager.

I don't need to use it but it does look cool Cool plus you can have a sneaky peek at other folks readouts during practice ( don't tell anyone  Wink)

It worked fine for me once I had changed my .PLR file.

I have not used it for a while though. I just use the GTR2 XD thing now.

I did once notice on a public server, that a couple of people had their rev limit go off the screen on my G-racer read out. Some kind of cheat, it clearly showed up on the G-racer display. Muppets Grin

Yeah, thats the main benefit for it at the mo, you can see others speeds/times etc when watching them in the monitor.
