This will be the final race of a short series designed to test the new GT1 and GT2 cars in a competitive setting.

Practice 1:19:40(5 mins)note the early start time
Qual 2:19:45(15 mins)
Race:20:00(130 mins)note: no warmup!

Cars allowed: Any GT1 or GT2 from the v2.8.9.1 pack (download from here)
Weather: changeable, based on real-world conditions at the start of the event.
Track: UKGTR Monza (download from here as part of the UKGTR Track Pack v1.2)
In-Game Race Start Time: 16:00
Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of two pit stops during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel or change your tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

Server: UKGTR Season 8.9
Password: see above

Notes:
  • Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter rolling starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
  • You will not be able to join the server without v2.8.9.1 of the UKGTR car pack and v1.2 of the Track pack (see download links above).
You will not see skins correctly without the optional, matching GT1 and GT2 skins packs.
  • Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
  • Please use the Driver Details page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).

I voted for double header only because I've got another race at 21:40 so in that case I could join the first one at least I guess Grin

I voted for the double header because it's something different to normal & again I think I'll have more time being involved in actual racing over 2x30mins rather then just being lapped in 1x80mins.

It looking like another 9pm start time makes me vote for a double header...super E would take us in to the wee small hours.

If we do a Super it'll start early as per season 8.

Okay, full details posted. In light of the closeness of the poll, I'll endeavour to ensure that when we test the new GTC and GT3 cars early next year we run some of those races as double headers.

The poll has now been replaced with one for car choice. Let's try and get a good spread - there are nearly enough cars for everyone to be in something different... Wink

Won't be able to make the entire race then. If I see the attendance is not too good (surely will be though) I'll join for the first part Smiley have fun
