Theres a link from here. The download is a French site but it has an English link..

Do a fresh instal of RBR then run the 2009 patch.

In the game select "MULIGATAWNY" as your profile then navigate to settings and you can change the language of the pacenotes

Took me a while to work out how to fire up the 2009 mod but got there in the end lol.

There are 3 updates to the full mod now at virtualr site.

Cheers chaps, just what I need until the broadband comes back on - for anyone else who wants to grab a copy, only a couple of quid on Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Richard-Burns-Rally-PC-Gamer/dp/B000C97156/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1233748467&sr=8-1

True enough, I'd forgotten exactly how hard RBR is  Smiley The only thing that it lacked, for me, was a wide choice of car and this mod certaily sorts that. Great work and free.

You simply must try the GT2 on tarmac  Kiss And simply avoid it on gravel  Shocked

You weren't wrong! Didn't even managed to finish a GB stage last night but had lots of fun in the process. Handbrake turn lessons took me back Asda car park. Still got some hours before the left foot braking technique comes good though....oh and the right foot one.

No idea bud! Tried to install yesterday, got Mulligatny or something as a profile and some French pace notes but no sign of any new motors.

It took over an hour to install everything and there was a write error towards the end which I just ignored. I'd put it down to that and as it took so long didn't bother retrying last night as it was eating into my Scooby spanking time.

If anyone can shed any light though it would be handy...I'll see what I can dig up on forums etc.

Remember trying the 2006 mod long ago but it used a seperate exe application that allows you to load what extra cars and tracks you wanted, it then copies them into you RBR directory and it than ran the RBR exe. I'm surprised it doesnt put a link on the desktop, look in the RBR directory.

Ah right - think I might know what you're on about actually - there was a utility which looked to have options for online multiplayer gaming among other things. Wasn't sure it was the right thing and when I tried what I thought was a car installation it bombed out and I never went back as it was all a bit vague. Wouldn't be surprised if that's it  after all thinking about it.

Thanks for that dude - will try again this eve and let you know.

You double click the RScentre icon that it put on your desktop, there are drop down menu's at the top which contain all the new cars and under that there are more drop down menu's for modded tracks, mix, original and other stuff like setting weather. Just choose what car you want to drive then click "play alone" and then "launch RBR.ss or something like that, cant remember off hand and it will load the mod up then you can do what rally you want.

Trying to remember this from work so apologies if not crystal but its close enough lol

Also once in the 2009 mod you can go to options and turn the pace notes back to english.

Thats it Gazza though I launch RBR2009 to get mod to work, its not the most intuitive mod is it. Anyone know how you play online for example, how exactly does it work online?

You can find the GT2 in the GT10 mod selection in RScentre by the way.

Yep spot on chaps, tried the RScenter.exe again and on closer inspection there's a tab on the right next to the multiplayer options that is "Play as a loner" or something along those lines Smiley

RBR2009 isn't working for me for some reason but you can launch any car/ track/ surface combo from the RScenter - it's nothing like the level of integration you see with Simbin stuff but it seems to work alright, looks like there are endless cars to choose from.

Still without t'internet so this is a nice little distraction, strangely addictive despite the fact I crash every 3.5 corners'ish. Will definitely be spending more time with this one!

I've also ordered Sega Rally 2 in case I completely wimp out Smiley
