Funny old track, dreadful start with cars spinning and stuff. Hope we've got that out of the way before the real season and I hold my hand up as I was as guilty as many tapping the car in front Sad

After that and RM waiting, which sadly left large gaps I think, it was a slightly strange race. I hadn't realised how many GT1/2's went off on the formation lap, or first race lap incidents but lap after lap more were coming by at a rate of knots  Roll Eyes

Anyway, safe and slow I didn't hit a single tyre all race Smiley Quite enjoyed it and was a little disappointed when the race ended 5 mins early.

Didn't have any praccy and just tried to keep it on the track during the race. Had one off where I hit the barrier but only lost 5s and the car didn't seem to mind it to much either. Just need to get some more praccy in before next time Smiley Nice racing all, was good fun Cool

Edit: At the back I put my limiter on for about 20 meters but apart from that the pack didn't seem close enough to do so TBH

What a track.  Done fair until about half way. Sorry to who ever i hit trying to blink my lights to let them pass. I ran right into them.

Np, it happens. Was a bit surprised, though. Kind of like I got torpedoed.  Cheesy

Spanner, you driving the C6R? If you were apologies for the nudge, I came off my limiter too eraly.

Enjoyed that race, a lot going on around me, a lot of people dropping out. Was hoping to have the same pace as MJ but I couldn't get close enough for a battle. One nudge on the barrier and one silly spin were my only errors.

Lots of fun with a good handling GTC watching the faster classes fly past and the inevitable accidents. I lost a lot of ground to Pete's Z4 at the starting melee (sorry for the tap) and never saw him again. I got to the end without further incident picking up places as people dropped out. The perfect place for a fun race - too many DNFs for the serious stuff.

OK, we are done hogging the server now Grin

Needles to say the second race was not completed by anyone,  Cheesy

The test race was awesome, really enjoyed it and was also disappointed that it finished early. I was lucky with other peoples mistakes but I did have to push much harder than I wanted to at times. sweatdrop

Jose was rite on me from the start and I was pushing hard for the first few laps. Jose made a mistake following me into one of the tyre barriers. Easily done when follwing through there.  I was able to back off for a little while but FreQ soon caught up, totally on a charge Grin

He got passed on the last corner and got the line into T1. I then began to push very hard to keep up but he had me. Sad To my amazement he crashed into the tyre barrier. Unlucky mate, you had incredable pace.

See you all next time.

Team Pseudo 1, 2 Grin

Well done Gazza, JonM and all finishers.

And everyone else for even trying on this crazy track. It is pure luck that I did not crash. I was very close to doing so many times. Grin

Great race. Decided to take the Viper because it was great fun round here.....so, so fast on the straights!

Completely messed up at the start and caused chaos when I spun before even getting to the s/f line. Sorry everyone! It was funny though, I was laughing down teamspeak whilst facing the wrong way.

Worked my way up during the race and had a fantastic scrap with Simon; he wouldn't give an inch and we fought for a couple of laps. I made a couple of mistakes and dropped back, only to close again and start the fight back up. Then we committed the cardinal sin of trying to go side-by-side into the first fast chicane...and I think we were the only people in history to pull it off!  laugh  He then had a big tank slapper at the next chicane and somehow held it together. Was great to fight like that and not make contact Grin

Then caught Hal up, and had another good scrap, eventually passing on the s/f straight. Then I totally messed up at the second fast chicane and went smack into the tyres and jettisoned myself into the sky and off the track.

I love Enna, and the Viper was great here too. Great race!  Grin  Cool

Nightmare for me; I came out of an iRacing "fun" race which turned into a destruction derby, with a splitting headache and jumped into the Aston with zero practice. Was pretty clearly the slowest thing on the track and promptly stuffed myself into the left hand tyre stack in the first chicane early doors. Limped back to the pits to have my left front reattached and carefully avoided that tyre stack for the rest of the race, so carefully in fact that I drove directly into the right hand tyre stack in the same place. Decided at that point that perhaps I wasn't fit to be out there and quit.

I didn't really have a problem in practice or qualifying so I don't know why it all went so wrong in the race. Huh

Went to do another iRacing race but it turned into another destruction derby. Roll Eyes
