Grats to Busi, H@l and Gaz for the podiums, and hard luck RR  Undecided

I just noticed - That JonB 1970 guy....18 seconds off the pace in Q? Was there a problem or was that his real pace? If you're reading Jon - practise and get comfortable with the car before racing, it's a lot more fun as you'll get involved with battles with other cars. That far off the pace is just hazardous to you and other drivers, and it can't be fun running around by yourself.

UKGTR are a friendly bunch, so feel free to ask Q's  Smiley

Okay here's one for you FreQ !
-What can I do to drive as fast as you do in the Lister  Huh
I mean the way you drove at Spa last Sunday IN RAIN in that car ... Christ... I Know I will get a warning buy cursing but you are bloody fast in the Lister !!!
Can I come and visit you for a weekend and be pointed to some of the secrets or do I have to kill someone? Please, Please... Pretty Please, (with sugar on the top), let me in on the secrets I'll need to know. I had a nightmare for the first time in a long time after Sundays race at Spa. (might be I lack confidence/skill to drive in rain or something  Shocked ) It's a serious question! Send me a PM or just give some hints on how to drive the "LISTER"   Wink

The Imola race "for me" was quite good, a few battles in the middle of the race and the quick overtake by Lazlow in the middle of the race was a wake up call. I managed to overtake lazlow on the last lap. I qualied 8'th and ended the race in 8'th, SO I'm pleased. Grats to Podium winners and to the rest of the drivers at Imola. I can only affirm what RR and H@L said earlier, the track is made by a devillish person how needs help  wackonuke censored

Here is a tip for the Lister Jorgen, use a higher gear and low revs at corner exit. That car has enormous torque which can catch you out, so make the gearing so that you exit corners at low revs and so you can throttle early and by the time you're ina  straight line the power is max.

Okay.. will try that.  thumbup1
I'm quite satisfied with my times on Brno with Lister (1.52-53 for Quali and 1.53-54 for Race) but on some of the tracks "Like Spa & Imola" I seem to have hit a wall in my progress/advancement  Undecided
Okay conditions where wet in the beginning at Spa and I just suck at driving in wet/rainy conditions (really need to practice in the wet) So after I have suffered 2 punctures I just called it a night and hung my helmet up and went for "Anger management"  Angry  I usually feel quite comfy at Spa in the dry but to drive 2.06.9xx like FreQ...  Shocked  I need to see If I can shave some time off in adjusting my gearing? But it is most likely a combo of my driving and gearing, time will tell  angel

Yea...I'm probably very close to the edge on that one. It's been modified to be more stict though, and I got no warnings at all, so thought I was well within the limits  Huh
