Thanks for the clean race all! Especially at the rush hour in qual, when some of you "Elite" forces got out of the way when I was on a lying lap! Thanks! People actually look in the mirrors here.

Grats for Madd-RIP, nice win! Great track/car combination. Enjoyed this event very much. More, please....  Grin

Hehe, there was one point where MJ had got a run on Matt up the hill and was passing on the outside, and I'd had a run on both of them and I'd got my nose outside MJ in the kinks before Casino and we were briefly 3 abreast...that's surely impossible at Monaco!

Dunno about out-accelerating you MJ, I noticed that too, but I was running middle gearing like you, I had upped the power diff to 40 to get better traction, perhaps that?  Or is your G25 not producing 100%?

Still, was pretty frustrated to be off my pace of the previous night and just not able to drift the car like I had been, sluggish reactions meant I simply couldn't apply the finest control and was having to steer the car round rather than slide it.  And what a muddle I caused with a useless spin exiting the swimming pool, sorry to everyone caught up in my sideways car.

I'd be a rubbish racing driver..."Sorry boss, don't think I'll be too fast today, tired...slept badly" "Oh okay then, you're FIRED!"  Cheesy

Bit sick of real life stress impinging on my simracing, after all, what's more important, certainly not real life.  Tongue

Snap Steve.  Wednesday I got wound up and finished 4 secs faster  Grin - confident on braking and acceleration hardly an error only slight side on kisses with a barrier.  Cool  Last night I was crap - turning in too fast/early/late  Roll Eyes (I don't know couldn't sort it  Huh) and had snap oversteer and a slide/spin into the barrier.  cursing As someone remarked an early bath.  thumbdown

That was a great race. Got punted and turned around a couple of times on the first lap (sorry to the two elites who were all ready in the run off at the hairpin as i  punted a jag from behind  into them when he turned in front and slowed suddenly :'()  and a few mistakes myself then got in the swing starting catching up the people in front having a good go then after about 10 lap i spun at the hairpin at the end of the bay going on to the start/finish and i had seen madds lollipop and couple of times behind me and i was right across the road so i quit out because by the time i had do a 3 point turn the leaders would have been flying in Shocked but it was good fun.
Cheers admins for a great car/track combo

Great fun that Smiley

Good fight with Dan to begin with, well I tried to hold him up anyways, but he put the bravest of passes on me to get by. Very nice. He was really sliding the Girly Elite and I see what you mean Steve, very brave on the night. Then I made a few slips, a few got by and then they made a few slips and I got by  Smiley. Got back to second but then I made another error on penultimate lap and Dyno got by, again  Grin, for a deserved second in the might Abarth. Real intense racing but heaps of fun.

To be honest, having done hundreds of laps in excellent NK version, I'm not that impressed by that version of Monaco. However, accuracy isn't everything for me and lets hope we get that much fun in S7.

Got to thank the brave souls who took the Jag. Think we shall have to do a rematch on a faster track when those same gents, and only them, can use its "mighty" straight line speed to their advantage

Was looking forward to some close battles between myself, Ian,Steve and Dan and in the opening laps there was, slipped a pb in quali running car virtually empty and lowest gearing.

Made a pretty good start and just hoped I wasn't going to be outdragged by the Abarth of Ian to St. Devote, luckily I wasn't and then just went for it, With everyone squabbling behind I got a little gap going but then my Team boss was pegging me for times for a while until he spun at the swimming pool chicane, after that it was a bit lonely as I could just keep plugging times in, but did chuckle seeing how close some of the name tags were to each other, 'someone,I thought, is having a very busy race!'  Cheesy

I thought it was a good combination of cars and track, although the Jag could have been omitted as it just cannot turn!

Roll on S7!

Grats to 2nd and third and to everyone who finished.  thumbup2

That was great fun. Not one of my favourite tracks but sliding around in the Abarth was brill.

I got a poor start & lost a few spots but with a few others having moments in the early laps I think I just managed to get in the top 6. I was chasing the battle of MattR & MarkJ but every time I got close I made a silly error & lost ground. Eventually had a spin exiting the last turn & had to wait while 2 or 3 others went past & finished 8th.

Curious thing in qually, I recorded my best lap (1.57.0) about 1s before the session ended which would have put me 5th on the grid, as the results show. But I actually started 8th which is where my next best time put me. Bug I guess.

Congrats to the podium. clap

Can't make the Monday P&G races at the moment, so cya all next Thursday.
