Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1s

There was a report about Syd warping during qually and race. The replay shows his car warping and sinking through the ground.
Can't really penalize him about this. It's something that has to be sorted at the time, notify the person warping and ask him to leave or rejoin. I can't prove if this happened or not.

Server replay time: 45s

Sam's car is warping and gently rearends Matt, pushing him slightly against Lazlow. Now damage nor places lost. Minor incident propably caused by warping.

Server replay time: 52s

Matt Rowe rear ends PRibeiro into T1, sending him around and ending him at the back of the grid.
PRibeiro asked for no penalty, otherwise this would have been a 2 places lost.

  • phspok (Matt_Rowe)penalty — Rear ending — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 68s

Mr. Oily taps Ade a couple of times before sending him around. This caused mayhem and multiple incidents as it was early in the race. The taps before should have been a warning to be careful.
Due to the numerous taps and chaos caused due to this, it gets the maximum penalty of 2 places which stands for rear end hits.

There was however no report from the victim, eliminating this penalty.

  • mr_oilypenalty — Rear end hit — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 70s

Lazlow taps Sam who are all trying to avoid previous incident. It happens right infront of them with hardly any time to react.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 80s

Madd rear end Lazlow, making him run wide and due to good control Lazlow remains pointing forward. This could have gone a lot worst but the result wasn't too bad. Still it was avoidable, but due to the limited damage this would have only been a 1 place penalty.

  • Madd-RIPpenalty — Rear end hit — 1 place lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 100s

Madd rear ends Ross, sending him around and losing him a lot of places.
Avoidable incident, normally worth 2 places penalty.

  • Madd-RIPpenalty — Rear end hit — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 138s

Madd hits Syd's warping car, nothing Madd could do about that.
If your car is warping and people warn you about that, leave and rejoin. If the problem stays, stay out of the race as it will only cause chaos!
Like previous incident regarding Syd's warping, I can't prove him being warned, but this is an advice in general. Leave when told you're warping.
Don't think I can do more about these warping issues at this moment.

Server replay time: 140s

Mr Oily nudges Sandor's car, sending him into the tyrewall. The contact was minimal, but the effect was big. The nature of the track and the close racing was probably the cause of this incident, but because Sandor was quite heavily effected by this, it's still worth the 2 places penalty (but again, no victim report).

  • mr_oilypenalty — Rear end hit — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 202s

Lazlow tries to overtake Evert but slightly touches him, but enough to spin Evert around. Evert loses a few places but both can continue by what seems no damage.
There wasn't really room for a move so the incident was avoidable.
Evert asked for no penalty.

  • lazlow (Lazlow)penalty — Overambitious overtake — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 367s

Alex defends the inside of the corner, still Sam tries to overtake, resulting in a rear end shunt, sending Alex into the wall.

  • Samb (Sam Blood)penalty — Impossible overtaking manoeuvre — 2 places lost

Server replay time: 540s

Madd outbrakes himself and runs a bit wide, off the racing line. Evert takes the inside and the racing line. He has the right for that line but Madd tries to get back on the line, steering into Evert as a result.
Evert did not lean against Madd's car. Both cars could continue without problems.

  • Madd-RIPadvice — Reclaiming racing line

Server replay time: 1373s

Sam approaches 2 slow driving Alpines and doesn't give enough room, and cuts PR's Alpine, and rear ends Ross' Alpine, sending him around and into the wall. There was enough room on the right to pass both cars.
The contact was avoidable.

  • Samb (Sam Blood)penalty — Contact — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Could be a slightly hectic night of racing..tried the Healey in an AI race and managed to spin twice in the first 5 laps.  I know I'm not that great on tight twisty tracks but that's not a great sign for clean racing - it's just as narrow as Monaco, tailbacks did occur, until I reversed into a void and fell..........

Managed to get down to 1:00.1 in qually so the guys better at tight tracks will be well down in the 59s, hopefully I can break 1 minute.

For me, every season should include a spin around a tight street circuit but don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to race on one every week. I think its up to us too race cleanly, this car choice should help (Alpine drivers have to be wary in braking zones mind) and I am hopeful that this will be at least as much fun as the recent run at Monaco.

Disappointing not to see you last week and hope you make this one Steve  Smiley

I aim to be there Ian, providing I'm not going to be a liability on track.  Wink  I would have been at Mid-Ohio.

I think this ones a bit to tight for good racing tho, still as long as we all give way for each other there shouldn't be a problem  angel

For those out there that have not seen this track yet, I just found this video for a bit of advance scouting:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhRNvB6OMao
(fast forward the first 30secs, unless you're into ACDC  Wink)

Looks like there are a few unexpected corners that look like you should be going straight on at  death lol

Hope to see a few of you online morrow for usual pracci session but hope you still stay when I beat your times then, sore bunch on there tonight  Wink I really like that track as it really flows in the Healey, maybe its the chassis to beat? First time for everything. 59.6 best so far.

Is Oily back with us?

Yeah had seven on there tonight (all on team-speak, except antisocial Ian Wink), great track, great car choices, great fun!
When I had to sign off (in shame, as SBG was arguably quicker), all seven of us (though Blunder had left by that point) were within a 1 second spread from 59.5 to 1:00.5 & using three of four the car choices!!!

Nice one SBG, great match up. I'll be on tomorrow night, hopefully from about 9pm, for anyone that fancies lapping in company?

Heheh yep back with bells on Ginsters - so nice to be racing online again, no offence to the developers but the offline game sucks ass when you want to practice some racecraft.

Great to experience that unique blend of Team Oldie motivational talk for the first time on TS last night - look forward to catching everyone on again this eve.
