Ok! it must be me  I have downloaded this patch. I have deleted the gplc65.exe file from the C:\Sierra\GPL folder I have run the patch install package I have retarted Gem and watched as it rebuilt 65.exe I have done the above at least 4 times this evening and.... I have started GPL 65 mod offline ( and on line) but......... I simply do not get any slipstrem effect, unless I am within 0.4 on prib. At anything like 0.5-0.6 behind a BRM or Fez, they just drive away from me!! Someone tell me what i'm missing here |

I would like to know why modding GPL always has to be made as bloody difficult as possible.
First I have to register on a forum that I have never needed in five years and then I find that the file I have downloaded is a 7z.
So what the hell is that?
We couldn't just have a zip or rar file, oh no, that would be far too simple.
Bollox to the lot of it.
I'll go do some RC car racing.

I use 7-Zip for everything Clive, so that's one problem sorted, however registering for a forum I'll likely never use I'm against, so can somebody chuck it up on Crappyshare (Rapidshare for those who don't know how crap it can be) or Megacrudload (Megaupload) or another sharing site please? Or email, not fussed!

There is no indication on GEM. I thought that it was supposed to be selectable there.

Hi Clive, what was you expecting to select in Gem ? If it was long track option it is now built into 65, so when Targa is released ( soon ) 65 will work with it. paul |

I was expecting a tick box to switch the patch on or off. As it is I don't have a clue if it is working or not as I have not been able to race with anyone to see if I can notice any difference. |
